The reservation that wasn’t

After traveling from Michigan with my family to visit our daughter, we were only a few hours away from checking in when we received an email telling us our VRBO reservation was no longer available! We were instructed to call headquarters to resolve. After at least an hour on the phone while driving we were told the property was double booked and we were out of luck! Hard to believe VRBO would use software that was this faulty. We did receive instructions on how to receive a credit for a hotel room and I will certainly attempt to collect this as we ended up in a hotel quite a distance from our desired location at higher than budgeted cost. VRBO cannot be trusted for future reservations. Our trip was ruined and we will never use VRBO again due to their unreliable service. I will be sharing this story with everyone I know.
