Ocean View - In the Heart of Old Town -Casa Romance Escondido

This traditional Spanish house has all the comforts of home and is fantastic for entertaining as it can accommodate between 4 to 10 people. The exquisitely decorated and spacious Master Bedroom on the 2nd Floor has a full bathroom and is everything that you could wish for. Amenities include air-conditioning, mini refrigerator, coffer machine, safe box for the security of your personal belongings, a large 46 inch flat screen TV, with 80 channels plus HBO, CMAX 40 music channels, DVD, CD, Mp3 player, hair dryer, alarm clock, iron, and ironing board.
Also located on the 2nd floor is The Angels Room which is very spacious and has a choice of either 4 single beds, 2 king size beds, or 2 singles and one king with a full bathroom. Great for the kids or single adults!
The Green Room and the Native Room are located on the 3rd floor Terrace overlooking the bay of Puerto Vallarta (Banderas Bay) both have king size beds and each room has a full bathroom.


The Family Room which is adjacent to the bedrooms is very large and cozy and is equipped with two couches a chair and three coffee tables, a TV, VCR, DVD, CD and MP3 player. It has a Library with books in English, French and Spanish. It has some movies, CD music and Family Games. The desk is complete with a Mac mini computer (WiFi Internet access) 23in monitor and a black and white printer.

The 400 sq ft Terrace overlooks the bay of Puerto Vallarta (Banderas Bay) the impressive town and picturesque mountains. It has a magnificent view it is a great place to enjoy a margarita at sunset. At 9 PM every night of the year, a very large pirate ship circles the bay and shows a spectacular fireworks display.

A must see attraction from the Terrace to enjoy your favorite beverage, snacks or just to relax and unwind.

The ground level has a very large Living Room with an entertainment center and dining for 8 +. The inviting couches and 52in flat screen TV make this room truly a relaxing experience. This multi use room opens to the Garden Patio which is very lush, green and tropical. A large garden table and chairs await you in the center facing a dramatic dipping pool. A perfect place for soaking your body when sipping a cool drink. Extravagant, hidden and very romantic.

The Kitchen is very traditional and spacious. Impressively equipped with a refrigerator, 4 burner stove, oven, microwave, blender, toaster, coffeemaker, julienne, chafing dishes, water dispenser, glasses, dishes and silverware for 12 +, basic spices and much more.

Next to the kitchen is a Laundry Room with a washer, dryer and detergent for all your basic laundry needs.

A 1/2 Bathroom is located near the living room for guest use.

The Garage has a remote control (available from the management company) and is large enough to accommodate 2 small vehicles. A rare privilege indeed as parking is hard to come by on this busy little street!

Maid service is available every day for an extra charge but is included once during a week stay. Also breakfast Available for extra Charge contact the Owner.The property manager is very knowledgeable about the house and his impeccable services ready to assist you with any and all questions you may have.

Guy's property was a great fit for our group (6 adults, 2 young kiddos). The swimming pool was great for our kids, and nice to cool off in! The house itself was well stocked with everything we needed, especially the kitchen! The location was great, and surprisingly quiet given its location in Centro. Guy and Fidel were very easy to communicate with, and super flexible including on our checkout time, which was greatly appreciated! Overall this is a great property for big groups and worked very well for big families.

Perfect location!

This house is loaded with charm and is situated in the downtown area. It is near the Malecon, restaurants and shopping and close to just about anything you would want or need. It has all the amenities for a large group and was a happy place for a large gathering.

Our house was the perfect size for all 10 of us. We spent every evening watching the sun go down from the top level and it made for easy viewing of the fireworks when having small children who struggle to stay awake. We were impressed with the house overall. We were disappointed in the "pool". It was really just a big jacuzzi. AThe washer was not working and we had not been informed. We felt we had no privacy or security. Various folks walked in while we were staying there. The owner didn't see a problem with that when i spoke to him about it. They all seemed to have the key or code to the front door.

The pictures don't do it justice. Everything in the house is great. The rooms are spacious with amazing views on the top floor. The host and the house manager were extremely helpful in making sure we had everything we needed and more. Location is central and we couldn't have asked for a better spot

Best vacation in years - loved the house, the location, and the service!!

From the beginning I knew it was going to be a great trip, because Guy made sure we had information to plan the trip in advance. He called to check on us several times and his staff was great, too. The house is beautiful, charming and the dipping pool is wonderful to come home to after a day at the beach or before going out in the evening! You can walk to so many fabulous restaurants, galleries, shops and sites that a week wasn't long enough! I can't wait to go back.

Great location, Perfect amenities

My spouse and I were down visiting with two other couples and Casa Romance Escondido was perfect for our needs. It was located in old town, but close to the romance district, which made all the best parts of Puerto Vallarta walkable. House was just what we needed, and could have accommodated more at least another couple. Everything was clean and Guy and Patricia are great hosts, calling several times to check in and make sure everything was as we needed it. I would not hesitate to go back!

Great Location for a Family Holiday!

Our family of seven found this house perfect for being together yet having private space! The house is huge, and tastefully furnished and fully equipped both indoors and outdoors. Its location, less than 3 blocks from The Malecon, and surrounded by top notch restaurants and galleries couldn't have been more convenient. Guy and his local staff were very attentive, and we were greeted with complimentary margaritas, tortilla chips, guacamole and salsa from the very friendly restaurateur from nearby Melissa's! Those turned out to be the best margaritas we had in PV. We would recommend this house highly, and wouldn't hesitate to return.

This property could not have been more perfect for our group. Rooms are very spacious and private. Gathering spaces were comfortable and relaxing. Location was incredible and everything was within walking distance. Highly recommend this property for an authentic PV experience. Melissa's, the restaurant next door, was wonderful. They even prepared us a feast with the fish some of our group caught. We all said it was the best meal we've ever had. Fidel was very helpful and easy to communicate with. A++++

Idyllic

Perfect location. Not too far up the hill but far enough / up a dead end street that relatively quiet and close walking distance to the majority of the art galleries, lots of yummy restaurants, and the malecon. Functional A/C in all bedrooms was a must. Comfy beds, beautiful space, the “cool tub” was also essential. The photos don’t do this place justice. Our group was thrilled with the house and would all stay here again. Merci Guy!

Location, Location, Location

The best part of staying in the beautiful Casa Romance Escondido was being in the heart of it all. Two blocks from the center of the Malecon (boardwalk), steps away from Café Des Artistes (rated one of the best restaurants in Mexico), in the middle of participating art galleries for the Art Walk (Wednesday evenings) and right down the hill from the Mirador Cerro De La Cruz lookout where you can enjoy wonderful views - the climb is worth it! The owner (Guy), Fidel and the housekeeper were all very kind and concerned that all our needs were met. Thank you!

Beautiful house and fantastic location near the Malecon

Casa romance completely exceeded our expectations and was essential is making our to as memorable as it was. Many of our evenings were spent on the rooftop terrace watching the sunsets, and the location was ideal, just two blocks from the Malecon and about a twenty minute walk south to Playa los Muertos. The folks at Melissa's restaurant next door were very kind and obliging in bringing over snacks and margaritas. Amazing home & location.

This house was everything we dreamed of and the entire experience was so wonderful. Great communication from the host and Fedel. Melissa’s next door was fantastic. We also checked out their Cuban restaurant nearby. It was wonderful. Our only complaint was that the maid showed up before checkout at 9am while most of our group was still showering and packing. I know it’s high season so I understand that. Would love to spend another vacation in this home and highly recommend!

The location of this property is outstanding when you want to be in old Puerto Vallarta. Fidel is fantastic to work with. However, the property is old, the furniture in the living room is old and probably should be replaced; it was very uncomfortable to sit in this room for any length of time. The house comes with everything you need to cook. Rooms are air conditioned and each room has TV with many channels. The balcony rooms have a lovely deck that faces the ocean. The washer and dryer are new and very nice!

What a fabulous home. Just returned from our stay there and it was magical. 2 1/2 blocks to the heart of the Malecon and nice beaches. A ten minute walk to old town. Cafe des Artistes, one if the top restaurants in Mexico, only 25 feet away. Which is also a handy refernce point to tell cab drivers, easier than the address. I can't say enough great things about the house and Guy himself who was also terrific. Spent tons of time on the rooftop terrace overlooking Banderas Bay sipping my morning coffee or a glass of wine at night.

We had a wonderful stay here with five siblings and our spouses. The Casa is centrally located several short blocks from the Malecon, with resraurants, bank, and all amenities nearby. The Casa itself is spectacular. Four spacious bedrooms with en suites, air conditioning, and king beds. Gorgeous view of the bay from the terrace. Lots of comfortable sitting space for socializing. WONDERFUL!

We had the pleasure to stay in this fabulous home for one week. There was ten of us and the house was so spacious we were very comfortable. The rooms were decorated so beautifully, the little things that were supplied were so appreciated. Bus and taxi service was almost at front door. We were a very short distance from the shoreline and enjoyed the walks through town.Very good restaurants close by, but a wonderful kitchen to cook in was used often. The pool was large enough to fit us all in and we had a great time relaxing, enjoying everyone's company. Hopefully the next time we travel to mexico we will have everything again that Guy's house offers!

Perfect House In The Perfect Neighborhood

Casa Romantica is just as pictured - beautiful! We went with our two grown kids and their partners, and the versatility of the space worked out so well. The bedrooms were super comfortable, and the first-floor common space was especially great. We also enjoyed sunsets on the deck. The host Guy De Mangeon, contacted us several times to see if we needed anything. His recommendations for restaurants and other specific requests were right on target. He is most helpful. Fidel, the house manager, also helped with questions or requests for tourist excursions. We love visiting Mexico, and when back to Puerto Vallarta, this is the place we will stay.
