The pool ensures enjoyment, whether it's a refreshing dip in the summer or a cozy swim under the stars, perfect for soaking away stress while taking in the picturesque scenery. ABSOLUTELY NO OUTDOOR FIRES are permitted at the cottage from April 1st to May 1st.The ban is strictly enforced by the City of Kawartha Lakes to ensure the safety of our community and environment.

One of a kind cottage

The pool and lake were amazing side by side. The photos did not do the place justice! We were a family of 10 and slept comfortably. The only downside was no access to washer/dryer which would be useful especially with pool/wet clothes or towels, so bring extras! Otherwise an amazing stay 🙏

Beautiful Home On the Water

Unique spot with a waterfront view and a pool. Our kids absolutely loved it, it was our first family vacation in years and we had been saving for it for some time, worth the price! Home was outfitted with any kitchen item you need, everything was as promised and in good working order. Explored the town and parks nearby on rainy days and had the best time. We enjoyed our stay at 220 Washburn Island!

A Perfect Getaway Spot

We recently stayed at this incredible property and had an absolutely fantastic time. The place is spacious, providing ample room for our group to relax and enjoy ourselves. The highlight was definitely the beautiful pool and serene lake view, which made for a picturesque and relaxing environment. We also made great use of the hot tub, which was the perfect way to unwind after a day of fun. The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained, with all the linens and kitchen utensils we could possibly need. Overall, it was a delightful stay and we can't wait to come back again. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway!

Nice place

The cottage is beautiful and spacious - very accommodating for large groups and is exactly as the description however as an ex-housekeeper its very clear that they do not hire a cleaning company after the stay and if they do they really should source out a better one - for the almost $400 cleaning fee i would expect that there was not cobwebs in every corner, i expected there to not be dirt on the stairways when walking in and for there to not be water spots on the taps and shower handles almost as if someone used them when we first arrived. In addition to this, the checkout time is extremely early, with no option for a late checkout - i asked to pay for an additional day (3 days before my vacation) and there was no communication from the host, i had to call VRBO to get the clarification (a 40 minute phone call the first night of my vacation), they assured me it was fine and that the host would extend the stay later that evening and that they “just didn't see it” all that for me to get a message from the host a few hours later saying they wont do just that, and that the day is “booked” - which it wasn’t 3 days prior when I initially requested. I believe they booked it after I requested and just didn't want to deal with it so instead ruined part of our vacation. Overall, its a nice home in a nice location. I love the added benefit of the pool and the lake but the home should have been way cleaner and the host should communicate better.
