It was okay!
Driveway was not shoveled, there was no firewood nor lighter. The furnace was broken upon arrival. Dan did call and have someone come to the house, but they couldn’t fix it and just brought in space heaters (house was stuck around 55-60F). The location was good and the house has beautiful bones, however it needs some elbow grease and some touch ups. Cannot beat the value for the stay!

Girls Weekend
The house is in a beautiful location, wooded and quiet. The house is in desperate need of repairs and renovations. It was surface clean however the carpet is filthy and so many things are falling apart. The blinds need replacement, one bedroom we had to put a sheet over the window as so many slats were missing and the blinds in the rest of the house are dirty. The worst part is the mold. We all had headaches, sinus issues and coughing during our stay. The 2 bedrooms above the garage were the worst, we had people sleeping on the sofa because the mold was affecting them. The upstairs shower tiles are falling apart and there is mold there also. Every time we opened or closed the garage the kitchen and stairwell lights would go out and we would have to reset the breakers. We saw sparks coming from the wiring for the garage door opener so there are definitely electrical issues there along with the upstairs bathroom. The house is very unique and could be beautiful with a complete renovation and mold remediation.

Quiet Getaway near Lake Michigan
Round House was very well stocked and spacious in the quiet Birchwood Farms neighborhood. Beds were very comfortable and all appliances worked well. The water heater stopped working while we were there and the property owner was very responsive, immediately installing a new water heater. The house and furnishings are dated but we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful location, house has issues
Needs some updating…holes I. Walls, recreation room in useable due to mold. The beds were fine and sheets/towels clean but overall not maintained. A great price so we weren’t expecting the ritz but with a little bit of work could be a much better stat
