We actually do have a dual-layer roller shade system on the windows featuring both light-filtering and full blackout options. I apologize if the blackout feature was easily missed during your stay, and I will make sure we add clearer instructions for future guests so everyone can easily utilize them for complete privacy at night. Regarding the custom glass and iron front door, this is a deliberate architectural feature designed to capture the beautiful, high-end aesthetics commonly found in luxury neighborhoods like River Oaks. That being said, we completely understand your perspective on nighttime visibility and will definitely consider adding a pull-down privacy shade to the front door in the future to give guests an extra option for privacy.
