Loved our stay. It's a great setup. Feeding the animals in the morning was a highlight to our stay. Laying in bed looking out at the stars was fabulous. I'd recommend this to everyone. Looking forward to a return trip.

I stayed here with my mom, and it was a fun experience. We loved the animals the sheep, goats, and alpacas. The lounge area was nice too. Our dome was very cool, the beds comfortable, it was a bit cool in there to walk around but we were warm at night. The only negative was the housekeeping could have been better.

The domes are clean and as modern as a hotel room. A beautiful property, make sure you take a walk down to the water across the street and also take in the view down from the barn lounge. Feeding the animals is enjoyable for everyone as well.

We stayed at Dome 1 and it was amazing! This was our first time staying outdoors with our two young children who loved every moment of their stay. The dome was comfortable, clean, and it was close to the “coop” where we could get coffee and have a great view of the nearby lake. The kids were able to pet the bunnies and feed the alpacas which was certainly the highlight. Last but not least, both Ana and Kevin were great hosts. Highly recommend.

Incredible spot on round pond! Kayaked for miles and caught pictures of the aurora. Great hosts. The dome was insane watching the stars from bed. Fire pit was a bonus!

Beautiful respite

We stayed in the newest dome and it was a lovely place, in a beautiful setting, with gracious hosts. Beginning the morning with the alpacas, sheep, pigs, rabbits and chickens was exactly what we needed. Highly recommend. Stay at least two nights so you can appreciate the setting and amenities!

What a unique and wonderful property. We stayed in Dome 1 and were delighted by the view and clean, light wood interior. We had a full kitchen, comfy large bed on the first floor and a loft for the kids. Our host was friendly and welcoming as she gave us a personal introduction to the sleeping pig, chickens and recently shorn alpacas. The scenery is stunning to view from the elegant communal area on the upper level of the barn and from the easy sloped path leading the lake - where kayaks, canoes and gear awaited. The property was a quick drive to stores and a perfect launching point for trips to the shore or Northern Maine destinations.

Unique Experience

We enjoyed our stay in dome#1. Traveled to popular coastal towns; Camden and Boothbay Harbor. On rainy days it was nice just staying in the dome listening to the rainfall. Host was friendly and informative.. the Coop was very impressive and the coffee was delicious.

Stayed in Dome 1 for one night in mid-September while on a roadtrip from Nova Scotia to experience the 1940 book about the farm called Come Spring by Ben Ames Williams. Helpful host, easy check-in, comfortable king bed. However the photos in the description should be updated since the dome has some wear now, and to show how close the airstream trailer rental unit is to the firepit, it shares a driveway. The window curtains don't do much and we brought eyemasks in preparation. There wasn't a coffee table for the couch like in the photos. Appreciated the coffee pods in the kitchenette of the dome but all the dishes needed a good cleaning as well as the mini fridge. Keep in mind the stars are incredible at night but there are no outdoor lights, not even going up the eleven stairs to the dome. There isn't a single hook in the place for towels or coats; and no where to put luggage- a luggage stand, coat-rack, and boot tray in the entry would be nice, as well as a broom for guests to corral the grass and dirt from the farm, especially coming up the stairs onto the deck. That said, we loved the farm. Gorgeous setting, friendly animals, the Coop Lounge was so cool, definitely an experience reminiscent of the books descriptions.
