Communication was excellent and check in smooth. I think the cleanliness was a little lacking in some areas of the kitchen and floors. Just a suggestion to the host but maybe some artwork/decorations/throw blankets/etc to make the place a little more homey/comfortable. We had some issues with the pool. The waterfall features were not working properly and had some issues with the pool at first, but it was worked out and we could the pool the rest of the weekend. There were no instructions left by host as you normally see. No book outlining things about the house, things in the area, check out procedures, etc. Lots of wasp and birds nests at the entrances of the house. We had birds dipping and flying around us the whole time on the back patio by the pool. But they did not bother us. The creek access was a short walk through the pasture. It was a mowed path so that was nice to see! And the creek was absolutely beautiful! Crystal clear water! We brought down chairs and floats and spent some time hanging in the water. Overall the weekend was great and we had a lovely stay.
