Archies Place

Nice little cabin on the lake. The beds were nice and comfy. It's a beautiful area, and pretty close to shopping areas. The hosts were really nice and helpful too

Family Gathereing

Family yearly camping trip. All enjoyed their stay. Sleeping accommodations for 7 could have been better but served the purpose.

Julie, thanks for stating your feedback front and center. Since I'm sure you noticed this is an entire house in a very rural area, the only way to ensure that it is ready for future guests on time is to have a 10am checkout. Hope this helps!

This place is unfinished and run down with lack of maintenance and not what was was advertised has cottages on both sides and very noisy. Bbq is garbage and deck is unsafe and exposed wiring all through the cottage and outside shower is crap with no water pressure and no privacy from rd and neighbors. This place is way over priced so don't waist your money renting this run down place.

Archie’s cabin is comfy, clean, and charming. If you need anything Chesley is one text away. The yard is lovely with mature trees, moss, and natural rocks. It is a nature lovers paradise. The serene lake is just a few steps away. The outdoor shower tops it all off. Showering outdoors is revitalizing ( lots of hot water). You don’t get the same energy showering inside. Hard to explain. There is a smart TV and WIFI BTW. We saw rabbits, roughed grouse and deer on our drive to and from Archie’s. The road to Sunken Lake from the highway is fun; lots of turns and hills, brooks, trees, rock faces. The area is truly beautiful. I was sad to leave.
