Frequently asked questions
About the host
Hosted by Ann Renken
I grew up in St. Louis, but lived in Los Angeles for 17 years, which is where Ted and I met. Eventually, we relocated back here to be with family and enjoy a more relaxed lifestyle with our kids. We love the architecture and how hard St. Louisans work to preserve it. Plus, you truly get most anywhere in under 30 minutes, usually more like 10-15!
Why they chose this property
Benton Park has a lot to offer both types of guests we typically host. For families, there are very nearby parks/playgrounds and easy access to kid-friendly attractions. For adults looking to catch up or enjoy a night out, there are tons of casual and upscale dining options and a lively bar scene in Soulard. We're on such a small street that it feels like an escape within the city!
What makes this property unique
Very few properties in the city have double lots (the last two nearby have been developed with new homes quite recently). We treasure the elbow room, and the light it lets in
to the home. This home has been comfortably updated but still has the character of the 1888(!) architecture.
