This Key West designed and built architecture reflects the interior and exterior of the estate.

Owners custom-built this home and a carriage house in 2008. Construction took place over a period of 3 years with much love and care going into every detail of this property. Owners Pat and Bob would be happy to help in any way to guide a potential renter/guest to familiarize them with the area. There's an abundance of tourist attractions, such as many beaches, free parks, outdoor sports, activities and beautiful running trails. Shopping districts and malls are all nearby.

The entertainment deck view provides a peaceful setting overlooking beautiful palm trees and gardens. Car-port access. Gas BBQ. Completely furnished with all high end modern amenities including W/D, linens and top of the line appliances. Fully stocked with the cook in mind!

This is a gorgeous cottage, beautifully decorated and appointed with everything you will need for your stay. Pat and Bob are fantastic hosts and have great suggestions as to places to visit, restaurants to enjoy and much more. It couldn't have been more lovely!

This is an awesome find for my wife and I! Great location and ‘pin drop’ quiet! Listing is spot on…owners are amazing! Very friendly and accommodating! Would never hesitate to stay here again! Cottage House is very well appointed!

Family reunion

My wife and niece came to FL for a mini family reunion. This place was great and Patricia and Bob were great hosts. Kitchen was well stocked and the wine and crackers and cheese was a wonderful touch. Look forward to coming back in the future.

Highly recommend this lovely cottage!

Florida We stayed at this lovely private cottage in late February to see local sites and a Phillies game. Everything was perfect. The cottage is so nice and comfortable and clean. The deck is an added bonus. Everything we needed, and more, was provided. Pat and Bob are very kind and excel at making people feel welcome. I highly recommend!!

Everything you need.

It's hard to pick the best features. Beautifully decorated. Wine, cheese, crackers, and some beer waiting in the refrigerator. A bathroom we wanted to take home with us. The most comfortable bed we had on our trip. An outstanding choice for us. Looking forward to staying again in the future. Thank you Pat and Bob.

A little piece of heaven!

What a gem! The cottage was the perfect respite. Quiet, peaceful, so wonderfully decorated and appointed. And the bed was AMAZING! I slept like a baby! Pat was a good communicator from my first contact and she and Bob were the perfect hosts. The cottage had everything you might need, including a bottle of wine (and fresh fruit and other goodies) upon arrival. Had a great time exploring Tarpon Springs and the surrounding communities. Would highly recommend!

The Ultimate Tarpon Springs Hideway

Wish we could rate it a 10! You will not find a better experience for a couple nor better hosts anywhere! We so enjoyed the carriage house, the location and the closeness to so many things to do. We rode bikes on Pinellas Trail, visited Clearwater Beach, took in Tampa Bay Rays game in St Pete, close to Tampa Bay Downs in Oldsmar, very close to Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks. Downtown Tarpon Springs and Dunedin were great for stores, markets and Restaurants. But above all, these hosts were absolutely top notch! Can’t wait to go back!

Anniversary Paradise

Pat and Bob’s paradise truly took our anniversary to the next level! There are so many wonderful gems close by from trails, beaches, and several wonderful restaurants. We never anticipated that we would have enjoyed our stay as much as we did. Our visit was truly just as advertised, a full kitchen, champagne, roses, and a welcoming atmosphere. We highly recommend for anyone visiting the area.

Biking the trails of Tarpon Springs

We had a wonderful time! Patty and Bob were gracious hosts who made us feel completely at home. The home I s beautiful, clean and stocked with things that were very welcome to us weary travelers after 4 days on the road. The trails are wonderful-wide, smooth and very safe. Although the kitchen was a great place to make meals, we tried all the local places and ate out every night. We will recommend this place to friends and return ourselves.

Beautiful property, immaculate rental

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO rentals and this is one of the best. The property is beautiful and the rental is immaculately clean and well stocked. Comfortable bed and good water pressure. Check in/out was simple. We didn’t see much of the host because we were there to visit family. They invite us to enjoy the fire pit and were friendly, not at all intrusive. There was an issue with the door lock and the outide porch light must have a bad bulb.

Cozy cottage....quaint, quiet, and convenient

Excellent alternative to local lodging options....on previous visits to the area, we've stayed at Innisbrook and this property far surpasses that resort in freshness, hospitality and comfort.

To Mr.John L. and family,due to the very short notice,on Christmas Day & the following day, we were able to accommodate this family to be with his family, who lived very close by.We were very concerned that their needs would be met,to our standards. Being our plans were already in place for the day. All worked out well though, when our daughter arrived at the same time our guest showed up @ the gate. She greeted them and got them settled in. An absolutely wonderful place to stay!

Pat and Bob made our stay absolutely wonderful! All of the beautiful touches from the champagne to food amenities in the refrigerator were such a pleasant surprise. The place is beautiful, peaceful and so close to the water. Off the beaten path yet everything within reach. Highly recommend this getaway location.

Peaceful,quiet but close to everything. Wonderful hosts

We love the location, the accommodations are excellent. (One slight problem is that the bed is very high) Pat & Bob are excellent hosts and we love chatting with them. They provided some breakfast items and wine & cheese which is a lovely treat.

Relaxing Break? Look No Further

Escaping the English winter and after an active week on Sanibel with family down from New York on Spring Break, we were looking for somewhere to relax for the rest of our Florida visit. We knew nothing of Tarpon Springs but the description of the Carriage House and the excellent reviews suggested that this was just what we were looking for. We were not disappointed. We got a good feeling as we drove in and it just got better. Thank you, Pat and Bob, for everything: the beautifully designed and presented Cottage, the so thoughtful welcome pack of breakfast food, coffee, wine and sundries, the fun evening round the fire pit and the excellent route advice driving north avoiding the 19. We also found much to enjoy around Tarpon Springs and will certainly be back if the Cottage is available when we meet up with the family next year. Chris and Liz

Fabulous Cottage!

You couldn't ask for more! Pat & Bob have thought of everything to make this cottage like home without all the work of being at home. You really feel like a special guest with breakfast food in the refrigerator and the cottage being prepared for you when you arrive. They go out of their way to make sure that you have everything you need and a lot of things that make it very comfortable. The kitchen is well stocked with all the cookware and dinnerware that you need, along with all the basic spices and staples needed to cook. We found an excellent Seafood Market down at the Sponge Docks and were able to purchase fresh shrimp and prepare them back at the cottage for dinner. The location of the cottage is perfect; very peaceful and out of the tourist area, but close to the Sponge Docks, Downtown Tarpon Springs, Honeymoon Island State Park, and many other beautiful parks and beaches. We spent three days there, and it was not nearly long enough to see all that we wanted to see. Pat and Bob were also very helpful in recommending restaurants and places to visit, and it was such a pleasure getting to know them. We left feeling like family. We will definitely be going back to stay there again in the future.

Home Away From Home

The cottage home is very charming, user friendly, and the personal touches are done just right. Mr. and Mrs. Grippe leave no stone unturned. Food and beverage upon your arrival. The property inside gives you a roomy kitchen, comfortable lounge area, beautiful bathroom with a walk-in shower, and a king sized bed. The property outside is very well maintained with your own private deck, large fire pit and bar. The washer and dryer during our stay was wonderful. We highly recommend the cottage for your stay.

I have just concluded my second but certainly not my last stay at the cottage house. The property is beautifully landscaped and most peaceful. The cottage itself is well appointed with every manageable amenity. Internet is lightning fast, great TV. Pat & Bob are great, interesting people. They provided what was essentially a weeks worth of breakfast for me.. What I really like is that while the property is secluded you are literally just a few minutes drive from shopping, restaurants and the downtown Tarpon Springs area. Highly recommended!!
