Relax in luxury with all the comforts of home, as you embark on an unforgettable experience in this cozy, newly remodeled 2br 2ba Lake Front Home. It is a perfect, relaxing retreat for all seasons of the year. Your family and friends can enjoy tubing, wakeboarding, water skiing, amazing fishing, kayaking, swimming and just relaxing on beautiful Lake Calm! Large boat ramp conveniently located on the property for you to launch your fishing/ski boats and/or jet skis.

We are conveniently located in Odessa, Fl. Close to the heart of Tampa Bay and all it has to offer. We are 30 min or less away from Tampa International Airport, malls, Busch Gardens, Tarpon Springs Sponge docks and Lowry Park Zoo. 40min away from Gulf beaches, Hard Rock Casino, Florida Aquarium, Straz Performing Arts Center (Broadway shows), Weeki Wachee Springs. Sports fans, we are home to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Rays and Lighting sports teams. Also, we are only 1.5 hours away from Walt Disney, SeaWorld, Universal Studios and all the Orlando attractions. Minutes away from your doorstep will be local restaurants, bike trails, Farmers Market, 4.5-star Golf courses, gas stations and grocery stores. We are close to everything, yet tucked away in a peaceful oasis.

Inside you will find an open floor plan with an inviting comforting decor, french doors in living area and master bedroom that open up to a large screened in porch that spans the entire width of the home, overlooking the lake. This is a place to read, relax, eat and enjoy the view bug-free. The kitchen has all the necessities for cooking. Stand at the sink and enjoy the amazing view. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, stove, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker and water. There is a master bedroom with a queen-sized bed with french doors looking out to the lake. Lie in bed each morning or evening and enjoy the sights and sounds of the lake. There is also a full master bathroom with a walk-in shower that will not disappoint. There is one more bedroom with another queen-sized bed. There is one more bathroom with tub/shower, also a washer and dryer inside the home. Linens and towels provided. The living room has a large screen TV, game console, DVDs, board games, wifi, and Fire stick so you can log into your favorite apps. You will have access to all of our local channels as well.

Outside you will find a large screened in porch with a fan, patio furniture to relax and eat outside. There is a fire pit, charcoal grill, fish cleaning station and 3 kayaks to enjoy. The lake has a beachfront, you can walk right in. You will see a gorgeous sunset right over the lake year round. This home is a great place to get away and make lasting family memories.

The Lake house is very peaceful and relaxing. The kitchen is the most well stocked of all the places we have stayed in.The hosts were eager to make our stay enjoyable.There is a Welcome book that is very well organized and informative. Before you do anything else, look at the Welcome book. It will save you some time looking for markets, fun stuff, etc.We started everyday on the lanai with coffee , watching the waterfowl, listening to birds, and enjoying the view. The lake was like glass most days. There were a pair of sandhill cranes that visited almost daily, sometimes spending the day with us. The sunsets were phenomenal. And although we didn’t use it on our visit, there is a fire pit where you can spend evenings near the lake enjoying the night air and friendship. The lake house also has corn hole, kayaks, and fishing poles. The lake is spring fed and its colors change with the morning light. Beautiful

This is the second time we have stayed here! This place is definitely a great place to get away for a bit. Clean, comfortable, quiet, cozy and more! It is close to all the big stuff, but nestled away on a lake in a quiet area. The hosts are very good and provide good communication and I feel would be there for any issues, should they arise. Christmas Week at Lindsay Lake House

We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and clean this lake house was. Everything was new and fully equipped with what you would need from a home away from home. We enjoyed everything about it. Very comfortable and even used the kitchen to cook. We had family over for a BBQ and we used the fire pit one evening. We would definitely rent this lake house again.

This is the best rental experience we have ever had. From communication with the owners, how clean and welcoming the home is to the views and neighbors. This house had absolutely everything there is nothing missing and the details added to make the stay comfortable was just tremendous. My kids had a blast with the friendly neighbors, the owners are super kind and very accommodating. The house was spotless, comfortable and if you forgot something they had it. The views are priceless. This is one home we will definitely rent over and over again, we wanted to buy it :)

We loved the "lake house." Sunsets are spectacular indeed, but ordinary days are lovely, too. Kayaking and birdlife are a plus and all is generally peaceful (nice neighbors too). The house itself is clean, cool, and charming. The screened in patio really extends the living space (and no worries about mosquitos or intense sun etc). A pleasure to come back to, after a day at the beach and braving the Tampa Bay Area traffic. Shannon and the crew were very kind and responsive. We hope to return (frequently). Highly recommend it!

Excellent relaxing environment

This is our second time at the Lindsay lakehouse. We spent five weeks enjoying the peaceful surroundings, the cottage, the lake and wild life activity. The cottage is close to Live theatre, golf, restaurants, shopping etc. we found a lovely deli close to the cottage on Gunn highway called Joey,s Deli. Delightful. Shannon is very responsive and respectful of the guests staying at the cottage. Her communication is immediate although we had no issues while there. The description of the accommodations is accurate. The kitchen is fully equipped and the availability of a washer/dryer invaluable. My husband and I highly recommend this cottage.

Christmas at the Lindsay Lakehouse

We enjoyed our two week holiday stay at the lake! The home is charming with well appointed comforts of home. The owners thought of many touches to make your stay comfortable from plush throw blankets, beautiful beach towels and all the kitchen gadgets you need! The beds are very comfortable and it’s just enough space for your family. The true prize of your stay is the lake view. You never tire of it and sunsets are something to be cherished. There is a fire pit, kayaks and a charcoal grill to enjoy. The owners were very responsive when we did reach out on inquiry of the property and with a few questions. Winn Dixie is a mile down the road. The surrounding area offers nature preserves, Tampa Bay walking/biking trails, Citrus Park Mall, golf courses -something for everyone. Do not hesitate to stay here!

Fabulous Lake Retreat

We loved our stay in this lovely home. We enjoyed having the lovely view of the lake everyday. Wonderful Experience

We frequently stay at VBRO rentals and this one has been the best thus far. Upon check-in which was super easy we were greeted with thoughtful touches (including Cuban bread & pastries) and a super clean house. During our stay the hosts were sure to check-in with us and make sure we had their contact info in case we needed anything, The house is set-up very well to make sure you have everything you need. If you are looking for a quiet, serene, peaceful setting, this is your place. You can feel the love and prayer that have gone into this lake house. If fishing is your thing (my husband is obsessed), then you will not be disappointed. He had a great week of fishing and did very well. If resting is your thing (I needed it), then you will not be disappointed. I laid in the huge screened in porch (I think they call it a lanai) staring at the beautiful lake and loved every second of it. We will definitely be booking here again since it is so close to our kids.

Our father and grandfather had a dream many years ago to purchase some waterfront land and build a retreat for our family. In 1968 that dream was fulfilled when they purchased this piece of paradise. They built this lake house with their very own hands and worked tirelessly each and every weekend until it was complete. Our family and friends have so many fond memories of this place and we thought we would now share it with others.

Why they chose this property

The Lindsay family has lived in Tampa, Florida their entire life. The lake house was a peaceful and fun getaway for the family to enjoy on their free weekends but was still close to home. If you're wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city life or just vacation The Lindsay Lake House is the place to be.

What makes this property unique

Open up the french doors and enjoy the indoor/outdoor living space. The sunsets are absolutely beautiful and you can enjoy them while cooking in the kitchen, laying in bed, sitting on the lanai with a cup of coffee or around the fire pit.
