This splendid home away from home offers fantastic indoor and outdoor spots where you can create everlasting memories with your family and friends. Outside, you will find an inviting firepit area that will be perfect for storytelling time at night. The ground-floor patio under the home provides you with a shaded spot to unwind as it features a cozy seating area right in front of a huge smart TV. Host summertime cookouts using the provided gas grill. There is nothing like rinsing off the sand after a fun day at the beach - the home also offers an enclosed outdoor shower for added convenience! And if you need some time on your own, grab a favorite book or your headphones and head to the shaded hammock.

When it comes to indoor living, the home boasts a breezy open floor plan that seamlessly combines all living spaces into one. Spread out comfortably on the sofas and stream your favorite movie or show on the smart TV with streaming services. If you are visiting during the winter, the electric fireplace will keep you nice and toasty. Surprise your family and friends with delicious homemade meals and treats prepared in the well-appointed kitchen, complete with all stainless steel appliances. From this level, you can access a screened porch, which opens to a larger back deck. The lower level hosts a cozy family room with a smart TV, an additional full-size fridge for storage, a foosball table, and a laundry area with a washer/dryer, a sink, and a dog crate.

Sleeping arrangements include three bedrooms on the main level. The primary suite enjoys a smart TV and an en suite bathroom.

OBX Getaway

This house was perfect for our OBX vacation with our kids and dog. It was clean, roomy, and everything worked as described. The location is central to everything, a few blocks to the walking path along the bay and a few more to the beach/ocean/ within 20 minutes either way in a car you can get to anything and everything.

Comfortable large home

We enjoyed the house and the large common areas. The living room, porch, deck, downstairs and yard were all nice spaces to spread out. We brought a “baby gate” for the upstairs deck to keep our dog up there with us. The neighborhood was great for our family and we enjoyed the park as well. I did not feel comfortable crossing the main road to the beach without a traffic light. So my recommendation is either to walk a little extra for that or drive and park to go to the beach. We would stay here again, it was a great house and value for our stay, thank you!

Filthy

The house was nice and that is about all. It was dirty inside, dog hair, dust and just unkept. The linen was covered in dog hair it was gross. Although management was quick to respond I ask for clean linen and it was not delivered. Would love to say it was great but cleanliness is a big thing and you cannot rent a place where you can pick months of dust with a swipe of a finger.

Cute house

This was a last minute visit and we brought our pups and this house was perfectly located. We enjoyed our time but there are some specific pros and cons. Pros- location, home furnishings and yard were all good. The king size bed in the master bedroom was great! As it was winter season, we didn't utilize the deck, but it was large and had plentiful seating. The downstairs fire pit also looked great, but we weren't able to enjoy it due to high winds. Cons - kitchen utensils/pans were dirty (I had to clean several items before use), no extra trash bags, only one in the trash can (obviously they didn't listen to the previous comment by another guest), no kitchen hand soap, no coffee filters, coffee maker was dirty, ice maker doesn't work. If bringing small children/pets there is no safety gate available to block of the downstairs. I am so grateful for a home with pets allowed, but the cleaning crew/rental management should really pay better attention to the kitchen cleanliness and basic additions that are typically provided at all other rental homes I've reserved. This home sleeps at least 8 according to my bedroom count (not including those who could stay on the couches. The home was spacious and would be a fun place for a large family. For the nightly price is a great deal.

Great Property

The house was roomy, clean & in a great location. We stayed there over the holidays and would like to stay there over the summer, too. I would highly recommend!
