Roast marshmallows around our custom firepit or try your hand at cornhole. The Cottage is perfect for small families looking for a quiet getaway or stopover on a road trip, couples seeking a romantic retreat, business travelers looking for a cozy workspace, travel nurses, and adventurers! Conveniently located 10 minutes from I-95, 20 minutes from Florence, 25 minutes from the Darlington Speedway, and 40 minutes from Myrtle Beach.
The cottage features a large bedroom with a full bathroom, living room with a pull-out couch, dining area, and kitchenette equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee pot, Keurig, toaster oven, cook top, and essentials for our valued guests.

The cottage was clean and comfortable. After the original VRBO was cancelled (four days before we traveled), the hostess made us and our dogs feel very welcomed. The overall experience was very good.

So charming. The hostess is very accommodating and willing. We felt very welcome. All the accoutrements are tasteful. We had plenty of what we needed for our little celebration. Not too far of a skirt to Flo-town for a bite and some dessert.

Cozy Cottage

This location made it easy for us to travel to a local rehearsal dinner and wedding at Parker Pines. It was very rural, yet be aware of the adjacent railway that stays very active during the day and night. Overall we would recommend this little cottage that had everything we needed.

Peaceful country setting

We enjoyed our stay at this peaceful country setting. Everything about the location was clean and bright. Thank you for being pet friendly, our dogs enjoyed walks around the property. Communication with our host quick and easy. The adjacent train tracks are active at night. Will use this location again if back in the area.

Perfect for our family!

We needed a large enough place for our family, bride/groom and a few friends to stay after hosting a wedding at the Bride's selected venue nearby. As well as a place for the 11 ladies in the bridal party to get all dolled up for the wedding. This site was perfect.

Nice little cottage.

We enjoyed ourselves. It's a small area, but well done. Its clean and works well. We had a little issue with electricity, but not a huge concern, It was handled. We would stay there again if needed. We asked for a "favor" and it was granted :) Thanks for everything!!

Beautiful efficiency!

Vrbo didnt give us our check in information but when I called the owner she made sure I had that information right away ! She was very accommodating and told us if we needed anything else not to hesitate to call. The place was beautiful with alot of history that is very intriguing. I would highly recommend thos rental property ! Thank you Courtney !

Super cute property, not totally private

The property was immaculate and had everything needed for our 3 night stay. There was an issue with the coffee pot, an important amenity, haha!! I messaged the host and it was remedied immediately, she was extremely responsive! My one issue with the property was with the other tenants onsite. The cottage is a private dwelling connected to a larger home, which I was aware of on the reservation. The tenants in the larger home allowed their dogs to run loose and that caused problems for me and my dogs. Also, the wall by the table is adjacent to one of their bedrooms is VERY thin!! We could hear their TV and snoring very loudly! They stayed up late at night and had a party, gratefully the bed in the cottage is offset so some of their noise was deflected. We LOVED the cottage and all it offered! If a large wedding or other gathering is happening at the same time, definitely expect it to have an impact on your privacy.

Perfect Family Wedding Weekend!

Our daughter was married just 15 minutes from the property and it was wonderful to have family stay together during the weekend! Each room is eloquent and private enough for the opportunity to get away! The kitchen and dining room were perfect for meals together! My only recommendation is more comfortable furniture in the living room to be able to gather in a more comfortable space. The outdoor grounds are fabulous! Selfishly I wish the front porch had a swing as it is the perfect spot to just watch the world go by—oh and a few trains but they were never a bother but rather brought all the more charm!
