Enjoyable stay

This rental home set the stage for an enjoyable getaway. It was well stocked with what we needed for a few days away (dish soap, toiletries, sponge, towels, bedding, etc.), and the pictures are accurate to the setup of the home. It is located in a beautiful location near a private beach and marina which were the highlight of our stay. The area was quiet and allowed for quality family time.

Place was clean. Several issues reported by guests that were not addressed. Screens were still broken.Front door landing has settled with over a 10 inch drop. Bottom step is an unstable stack of cement blocks. Toilet was not repaired from last guests comments.Hard to navigate safely. Air conditioning worked well. Fire pit was so rusted, unsafe to use. Location is great, needs some TLC.

Cape Cod visit

This place was perfect for us ! There where sand toys , coolers, beach towels, boogie boards and even bug spray! They had everything we needed for the beach. The beach was lovely ! We would definitely go here again.

Fun with seals

We enjoyed the stay. The water was much closer than we expected. The Seals visited every evening which was an unexpected surprise. The condo is tiny but we had everything we wanted. A nice visit.

I had to call & speak with Maurizio. This space was so subpar with worn toilet seat, broken bureau drawer, filthy sheets, scary unsafe wobbly metal gate, ac filters FULL of dust, futon with spots abd stains, front burner wont heat on cooktop....HORRIBLE!!

Loved it!!!

Such a cute little place perfect for me, and my son loved that. It was steps from the beach literally and it had everything we needed. Perfect location quick bike ride into town and centrally located along the Cape so we could easily travel to other towns for activities when we want it to. Cannot wait to return next year.

Lovely little condo in a great area. Nice area to walk to Chatham lighthouse and beach. Well equipped with everything we could possibly need. Plenty of seating options inside and out. In need of some repairs/updates including paint, improved lighting (replace malfunctioning light). Unit was clean and Vacasa was reponsive with concerns. Would stay here again!

Small, simple and neat

Great location!! Well stocked. Clean. Small but fine. Needs a little TLC by way of paint job, and blinds vs curtains in living room. Everything you need for good beach and post beach cooking.

Would stay again, but in need of some TLC

Great location, surface level clean with everything you need to be comfortable. No sheet for the futon in the living room, but you could bring some or let kids sleep there. As others have mentioned this unit could use some updating, but it is in a wonderful location with a nice walkable beach entrance that’s not overpopulated and beautiful. The loft area unit did stay cool with the AC and fan on, no problems there. I would stay here again, my friend would not. It was perfect for what we needed IMO.

Steps to beach

My husband and I were thrilled with the location. We walked through the parking lot to get to the private beach. The condo was clean, quiwt, well appointed and comfortable. Great internet connection. We spent every day on the beach watching the birds and seals. At night we watched the stars and the fascinating lighthouse light. Chatham is a charming town and less crowded in second Summer. I highly recommend Chatham Pier Fish Market for their lobster roll. We shopped at Chatham Market minutes from the condo. Note the condo has a queen, 2 twins in the loft, a futon and a sleep chair plenty of butts in bed spaces for famillies, if needed.

Clean but a little shaky

Cottage was clean and in a nice location and the check-in process was easy. However, it was unclear from the listing that the two beds in the loft were in a space where the person had to duck to get to the beds. Also, there did not seem to be a way to turn the downstairs overhead bedroom light on.

The condo was clean and well equipted. There queen bed, 2 twins in loft and a futon and a sleeper chair.. Though small you could do lpts of butts in beds.We only had 2 of us but I though a family could fot. Steps from its beatiful quiet private beach. We enjoyed bird watching and saw a herd of seal return each day. The stars were bright at night as was the cool lighthouse light. Being next to a wildlife refuge was cool. At night we heard owls, coyote, foxes and the bark of seals. The convenient location was minutes to great dhopping and fresh seafood. I highly recommend Chatham Pier Fish Market. Their great lobster rolls are packed with lobster. Downtown Chatham is charming.

Great location but has issues

The location of the property was nice but there were a few issues. First the road getting there was flooded so be prepared to drive through a foot of water. There were some hairs in the bathroom, an extremely dusty fan that blew that dust everywhere and one outlet in the bedroom was hanging out of the wall so a big electrical hazard. Just things to consider. I tried to contact the owners and heard they’d look in to it and stopped responding so just be careful. Maybe you’ll be luckier than me

Giving 2 stars for location, but the state of the property was less than ideal. Most of the lights didn’t work - overhead or plug in. There was a mess of jumbled wires at the top of the ladder into the loft, which seemed like a safety hazard. The furniture was shabby and some of it seemed very damp. The curtains were completely sheer, so there was no privacy unless you were closed in the bathroom. Many other people/renters lingering on the front patio, so the lack of privacy was a burden. They also provided MINIMAL supplies for your stay - one single roll of toilet paper and one roll of paper towels. There was sprouted garlic and other strange ingredients left behind. The loft feels relatively unsafe as you have to climb a ladder to get there and are met with the mess of wires that I mentioned previously. I’m 5’2” and had to completely hunch over to move around, so I don’t recommend the space for taller individuals. I could be wrong, but I thought the listing said parking available and did not specify how many spots. We had rented the space for 4 guests, and 3 of us drove. We all parked, and one of our cars was almost towed. I understand having limited parking, I just wish the allocated 2 spots was made clearer in the listing. Shower curtain was also stained and dingy. The unit is small and old, so some problems are expected, but I think it’s Vacasa’s responsibility to ensure that the space feels clean and safe, is stocked with basics (TP), and has functioning lights.
