About this property
Romantic cottage with stunning ocean and mountain views in Captain Cook, HI
Enjoy spectacular views of Kealakekua bay in the newly built Coffee Cottage in Captain Cook, Hawaii! Situated amongst the coffee trees at a pleasant 1350 ft. elevation, it’s a perfect temperature year round.
Stretch out in the California king bed and check out that view! Blackout curtains add to your sleeping comfort. The full bathroom includes a tub & shower combo. There’s a workstation with a desk and great WiFi. Relax in the cozy, oversize chair and ottoman, and find a place for your belongings in the small armoire. Stepping outside your sliding door, the lanai runs the full length of the cottage and wraps around to a well-stocked kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, air fryer oven, blender, coffee grinder & coffee maker, electric dual burner stove plate, a hammock & 2 seating areas.
This is truly a country escape, but we are only 20 minutes from historic Kailua Kona village with its many shops, restaurants and vacation activity tours. Other attractions are nearby, including the best snorkeling spot in Hawaii, hiking, beautiful black and yellow sand beaches, and surf spots.
There’s a well stocked grocery store, Ace hardware, and several restaurants just a 5 minute drive from the cottage.
Visual and sensory experiences, abound! Tropical birds, coqui frogs, wild parrots, chickens and roosters add to the exotic backdrop. Have I mentioned THE VIEW?
Should you need anything during your stay, we are up the hill, approximately 100 feet from the coffee cottage and ready to help.

About the host
Hosted by Mary Rayson

I grew up in the Midwest, and moved to Hawaii for University, and fell in love with the islands. I love the people and the aloha spirit here, the indoor/ outdoor lifestyle, clean air, beautiful beaches & mountains, stargazing, fresh fruit & Kona coffee!! It’s a privilege to share this magical setting with others.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is quiet, views are amazing, and it’s conveniently located near stores & restaurants.
What makes this property unique
It’s on a small coffee farm with a remote & peaceful feel, yet close to many desirable areas. At 1350ft. above sea level, temperatures are generally 10 degrees cooler then down in town, and offers big views down the coastline.
