My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The house was spacious enough for all of us. Everyone had their own bathroom so no one had to wait. The host provided instructions on how to use everything around the house and also provided recommendations for restaurants. My daughter, sister, and niece absolutely loved the hot tub. I would absolutely stay here again!

The house was nice and the hosts (Joel and Claire) were great. Only complaint is that the house right next door (yards away) kept us up every night of our visit. Appeared to be all college boys (8-10) that partied every night until the wee hours of the morning playing loud music, singing, whatever. They were having fun and I did the same at that age, but it was over the top and prevented any quality sleep by any of our own guests.

Thank you for your feedback and for staying with us. We’re so glad you enjoyed the house and appreciated our hospitality. We’re very sorry the neighboring property impacted your sleep during your stay. Unfortunately, while we don’t have control over nearby homes, we completely understand how frustrating that can be when you’re trying to relax and unwind. We do wish we had known during your stay, as we would have gladly tried to help address the situation in real time. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention and hope we’ll have the opportunity to host you again for a more peaceful experience in the future.

VWe visited in June with our daughter and 6 year old granddaughter. This property was very clean, well organized , and stocked with everything we needed. Communication with the host was positive and quick. When we had a minor issue with the ice maker, Joel had ice trays delivered to us within a couple of hours-which we honestly never expected. That was a pleasant surprise! The Bigfoot theme was very cute and the little one was thrilled with a scavenger hunt that had been set up. The location of this property is perfect for all local attractions and you don’t have to drive straight up a mountain to get to the house. 5 stars from us!

Great stay at Bigfoot Base camp!

We had an amazing stay celebrating the upcoming nuptials of my sister and her fiancé! The cabin was gorgeous, brand new and modern! We were close to all the amenities the Smoky Mountains has to offer but we were far enough from the bustle of the city to be able to enjoy peaceful evenings by the bonfire. 10/10 would recommend Joel and Bigfoot Base camp for your next trip to Tennessee!!

Vacation with Family

Overall, the place was extremely clean. There was enough room for my family of four including our dog. There was plenty of grass area for our dog to do their business. The theater, fire pit, and fire place was an extra touch.
