Tucked under the shade of trees and just one street over from the beach access (0.6 miles!), "Oaks and Waves" is the perfect place to call home during your stay on beautiful Oak Island.

Our coastal cutie is full of charm and character with modern conveniences waiting for you!
"Oaks and Waves" is located in the heart of Oak Island, less than one mile to dining and shopping, and just a quick walk to the beach access at SE 69th St.

Our two bedroom, 1 bath home will make your coastal dreams come true!

Relax on the inviting front porch with porch swing, enjoy a ride on our beach cruiser bikes or pack up the beach wagon and take a stroll to the nearby beach access. The newly fully fenced in backyard has plenty of space to relax. We can't wait to host you!

We had a wonderful stay at The beach cottage. The hosts were helpful and easy to get in touch with. The entire cottage was clean and had everything needed for a week at the beach. Highly recommended, and we will be returning in the future.

This house felt like home away from home! It rained a few days while we were there so we had some relaxing days at the house, and we enjoyed it. The porch swing was a hit! The beds and couch are very comfortable..and that's hard to find away from home! We loved our stay and will definitely recommend to our friends and family!

The house is exactly what we needed for a hassle free stay with amenities and necessities to make us feel right at home. The location is in a quiet neighborhood with a variety of restaurants options nearby, as well as grocery stores, pharmacies, and more. The front porch is a nice place for relaxing and enjoying a morning cup of coffee. The beach is within walking distance which is nice. Overall our experience was a great one and I would definitely stay in the same place again.

This house could not be cuter! It’s so perfectly appointed and you can’t help but feel at home. Really clean and comfy too. I would highly recommend a stay here. And I hope to go and stay here again.

An adorable, clean, fun little spot close to the beach. The kitchen was well equipped - very close to a local Food Lion for groceries. You can tell the host was very thoughtful in furnishing and setting up the rental! We enjoyed our stay.

A little further from the beach than I had hoped, but the property was otherwise perfect. I rented a golf cart and got where I needed to go. The decor was beautiful and well comfortable. Love this house and hopefully I’ll visit again soon.
If you like granola, this is the best I’ve had. Hippie Chick Granola Co. is a few blocks away!

The cottage is very cute. We weren’t able to use the outdoor space due to weather, but would be great in warm weather. It was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Quiet area. The owners were great and communication quick.

Oak Island ie a beautiful beach to relax and enjoy some quiet time it was just what we needed and the house was great I nice walk to beach and great sunsets we went morning and evening! The pelicans and dolphins are plentiful and what beautiful sand!!!
