Bright and Beachy Oceanfront Condo - Linens included!

This first floor walkup condo has a beach cottage feel with all the modern conveniences. Load up your beach cart and spend all day chasing the sun (or kids!) between the pool and the ocean - they are steps away. An outside shower and a downstairs lockable storage closet means less sand and gear for you to worry about. Upon check in your linens will be fresh on the beds for you and hung on towel rods so that you don't have to bring them from home or unwrap expensive uncomfortable rental linens and spend the first hour of your vacation making beds (and this is included in the price of your rental without additional fee!) When the tides turn, settle in, watch TV or Netflix while you prepare meals on granite countertops in your fully stocked kitchen, and then have dinner watching the sunset from your private balcony. Blackout curtains, memory foam mattresses, and contemporary bedding mean the sound of the waves will be the last thing you hear before blissful slumber. The Oak Island Golf Course is right across the street or hop on a ferry in charming Southport over to the NC Aquarium in Fort Fisher. Whatever you do, unplug the stress at home and plug in your vacation treat yo self mode!

We like walking into the smell of a clean condo (and like our guests knowing that it's been cleaned!) so we use scented cleaning products, FYI.

This was our second time renting this unit. It’s the perfect location on the beach. It’s very clean, comfortable, and has everything we needed. We love that it’s close to restaurants in walking distance on the beach. It’s also a short drive to Southport which is such a great place to eat and shop. We also took the ferry to Fort Fisher to visit the NC Aquarium which is such a fun trip. It’s interesting to learn all about the loggerhead turtles that nest on Caswell Beach. We always get to see some nests when we stay here. We would definitely recommend staying here!

Great condo, location and hosts!

My husband and I stayed here for a quick getaway with our 3 month old son for his first beach trip! Perfect location right on the beach and less than a mile walk to the pier and restaurants. Stuart and Brandon were excellent hosts and very responsive!

Great place!

The condo was clean and quiet and had all we needed. We loved the area. The only issue was that the pool was closed for 3 days while we were there due to equipment failure. I would stay there again. The area is nice and quiet and low key. We loved our stay there overall.

The perfect getaway

We stayed in the condo last year and decided to come back because of its perfect location, amenities, and cleanliness of the condo. We were enlighten to come back to the new sectional sofa, the perfect upgrade to this unit. We will definitely be back!

20th Wedding Anniversary Get-Away

This was my 1st time visiting Oak Island and I was so impressed! I love the atmosphere and the people. The condo was just like the photos and we really enjoyed the extended balcony. We'll definitely be back!

We just left this beautiful condo and wish we could've stayed longer! The condo was spotless and is very comfortable, right on the beach. The owner, Stuart, was very attentive and responsive. We had a lovely time and would highly recommend!

Comfortable

Tropical storm Debbie changed our plans but we had a beautiful area in which to watch the rain. The owners kept us informed of the storm and checked on us. Everyone we met in Oak Island was friendly. We traveled to Southport as well. We are hoping to come back in better weather and explore the ocean. Are only compliant is someone was smoking in the pool area.

Great place for family vaca

This was the second here we stayed and although the pool was broken the whole time we were there Brandon and Stuart were very apologietic and did all they could to communicate with us what was going on. The location is perfect for families with small children- it’s a 3 minute walk to the beach literally with kids and all the beach gear. Easy to go up and down with kids needing things. 10min walk on the beach to the pier. We’ll be booking a third year this year!

The condo was perfect and the area is fantastic!

The condo is lovely, very comfortable, very clean, and very well equipped for cooking and for relaxing. The beach is beautiful and the area is close to many attractions and places of interest. It’s also a great base for many day trips. There is a wide selection of restaurants. There are options available for almost any interest or activity. The pier is within walking distance. It’s very relaxing to sit on the balconies and watch the waves rolling in. The pool and the beach are just steps away from the condo. I can’t get say enough about what an excellent choice this condo is for a couple or for a family. It’s just simply perfect! We couldn’t have had a better experience. We expected a great condo and a great location and it exceeded our expectations! Thank you very much to our hosts for your prompt communication and for sharing this lovely condo! We definitely plan another stay and we definitely recommend this condo.

Gem of a Beach Condo!

This condo was perfect for our family vacation. The location is amazing and it was wonderful to walk right down to the beach and be able to drive into town in only a few minutes. The condo was absolutely adorable and extremely clean. The owners were very proactive and even e-mailed us about a special event during our stay that our family might enjoy. They also were very responsive to the feedback we had about the dishwasher needing to be serviced (which is the only reason we rated cleanliness as a 4/5) and were going to work on fixing that right away. We would definitely return and already told others to book this gem of a condo. You can't go wrong with this adorable vacation rental!

Good early summer beach stay

Easy entry and comfortable condo with well equiped kitchen and easy to use Roku TV in living area. Wonderful wide beach, perfect for our grandson's skim boarding. Waves were large enough for boogie boarding and ocean surprisingly warm for early June. Storage shed was very helpful. We also biked the beach every day. The lighthouse climb was very interesting. Beds were quite comfortable. The pool which is right beneath the balcony was quite noisy but closed at 8 each night so not very bothersome. We hope to come back another summer.

peaceful beach getaway

The condo was just as described. The unit was very clean and and the kitchen had everything I needed, including appliances that are top notch. Always nice to feel like you upgrade a bit from your own place! The view is spectacular and even when it was slightly raining, we could still enjoy it from inside. There is a direct path to the beach that is very close to the unit, so enjoyed many walks along the beach with easy access. I did have some trouble finding the exact unit within the complex, but I called the owner and they picked up right away and directed me. Of course, my friends found it no problem! Great experience, and have this one bookmarked as a favorite!

Long weekend at Oak Island

We wanted to explore Oak Island , St James, and Southport and your condo was the perfect base for our stay. Everything in the condo was spotless, and functional. We spent our days exploring and enjoyed sitting on the balcony listening to the ocean every night, then turning in to your very comfortable bed. There was more storage than we needed , even if we had stayed for a week or more. Showers were also a pleasant surprise. Unfortunately we had useable but not great weather so we got to walk the beach and sit for a time at the pool, but didn’t get the beach time we were hoping for. Everything you set up for us was very helpful. We did not use the TVs and didn’t get past the setup page on the TV menus.To be honest we didn’t try very hard as we had little real interest in TV and much preferred looking at the ocean from the balcony. Thanks for a great experience.

Amazing property and Stay

We loved our experience in Oak Island! We were down visiting family nearby and absolutely loved the large oceanfront balcony with a great view of the pool. The under building parking was wonderful and kept our car protected from the elements while also being very close by. Our kiddo is 4 years old and loved that the property had a doorbell and second bedroom and bathroom he could have “all to himself.” The property was exactly as pictured, it has been beautifully renovated and was well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. Stuart (the owner) was wonderful to work with! Always very responsive to any question we had and just all around nice. The beds were really comfortable! We brought our own pillows (as we always do) but the provided pillows were also very nice quality. The provided towels were also a really good quality and there were many of them. The proximity to the beach is wonderful with a public access right beside the building. Close to nearby parks and facilities. We did not want to leave! 10 out of 10 we would absolutely stay here again!

Wonderful condo. Exactly as pictured. Furnishings were very comfortable. Very easy access to the beach, and the chairs that are in the storage room are a great extra touch. Enjoyed sitting on the porch all times of the day and watching the ocean and boats. Lots of good restaurants on the island. Planning on going back!

Lovely location. Communication with hosts was very quick and timely. Poolside and quick boardwalk to the beach with outdoor shower to wash off the sand. Note that parking is very limited and this is a second story condo with no elevator. Quiet neighborhood unless there is a beach wedding/reception. Good value for the amenities.

My husband and I stayed at this condo in May and were very pleased with every aspect of that visit. We looked forward to returning and booked it again for a few days in late August into early September. Our family came with us on this recent visit. We were all very impressed. The moment you walk in there is a nice view of the ocean. The condo is immaculately clean. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we could possibly have needed for cooking, etc. Linens aare adequately provided. Both balconies are relaxing havens with ocean views. The family seating area is arranged very well for relaxing with tv, movies, games, etc. and is perfect for a family visit, although my husband and I also enjoyed it very much when we previously visited as a couple. Communication with Stuart and Brandon is excellent and they are wonderful hosts. The beach is clean and never crowded, even on a holiday weekend. Security of the beach and in the area is excellent. The pier is within walking distance. The pool and the beach couldn’t be more conveniently located. The island offers many excellent restaurants and opportunities for a wide variety of tastes and interests, however, it is also a convenient base for many choices of day trips. I can’t say enough good things about our visits to the condo and to Oak Island. We definitely plan to book this condo again and we highly recommend it. 5 stars in our opinion. We were looking for an opportunity at one of NC's amazing beaches. It was empty and needed a lot of love. We have spent lots of time and effort creating a comfortable retreat that is equipped with all the modern conveniences. You can't beat the quiet beaches, the amazing views, and the quintessential NC beach town vibe. We love it on season and off season.
