What an amazing stay! Grotto Mountain Guesthouse was beautiful, comfortable and had everything we needed to relax after 4 days hiking in Banff and beyond. Canmore was a much better choice for us than Banff. MUCH less crowded, great restaurants and shopping without the “tourist” feeling of Banff. Couldn’t recommend this place more!

Home away from Home

WoW...What a great little getaway space. Lianne and Trevor cover everything while you are in their home. Although we brought our own, they even had a Charcuterie board! This was a girls golf trip and we not only enjoyed beautiful Silvertip but coming back to the condo for a great soak in the hot tub! Can't wait to come again!

Warm, tastefully decorated and extremely clean accommodation!

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo was perfect for us. Fully-equipped kitchen and thoughtful amenities such as the barbecue on the deck overlooking the pool area was great. The beds were extremely comfortable and the unit extremely clean. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful memories made at Grotto Mountain

The property is situated in lively, artistic Canmore, surrounded by the majestic Canadian Rockies, just moments from Banff. The b and b unit is situated in a modern, well-maintained complex with garage parking and a luxurious pool, sauna, and jacuzzi. The unit is clean, well-appointed, and comfortable, with all the amenities of home. Lianne was extremely helpful, and her communication was clear and responsive. I wish we could have stayed longer. We hope to return. I recommend this booking without reservation.

Amazing hub with everything we needed

The Grotto Guesthouse was the perfect hub for our stay in the Canmore/Banff area. It had everything we needed, was clean and spacious, comfy beds, and even had games for the kids to wind down with after a busy day. We hope to be back again! Lianne was extremely responsive with any questions.

Fantastic VRBO

This is a great little place! Truly one of the most well equipped and nicer VRBOs we've stayed in. Super thoughtful touches. Great robes, insulated cups, comfy sheets, extra fluffy blankets and even bear spray 😬 The entire complex is nice, hot tubs and pool we're clean and easily accessible. Terrific experience! Family Vacation

Thank you for hosting us over 5 nights at the Grotto Mountain Guesthouse. Our family of 5 (3 adult aged kids) made ourselves at home and enjoyed all the amenities like a full kitchen (and well stocked), grill on the patio, pool, and hot tub. What a great location in Canmore near a nice little downtown, easy access to grocery stores, and a short drive into Banff. We loved our time there and in the area hiking and sight seeing. Thanks again for hosting us and hope to be back in the future.

Grotto Mountain Guesthouse

Absolutely fantastic property! Exactly what we hoped and even better than the photos. Owner was excellent to work with. Highly recommend this place. Great location in town; teenagers loved the pool, hot tub and work out room; kitchen appliances and utensils fully stocked and in great shape; beds were comfortable. Overall a fantastic holiday. Great Accommodations!

The layout is really good. The two bedrooms are separated by the well-appointed kitchen and living area which makes each room very private. The unit is tastefully decorated and is very cozy. Kitchen has everything you'd ever need. Parking the car in the parking garage felt very safe and secure and would be especially nice in inclement weather.

Great location for family adventures!

Great location in Canmore. Plenty of spave for family of 4. Amenities on location were great! Kids lobed the pool and hot tub at the end of a long day exploring all the parks. Downtown Canmore is definitely less busy than its Banff counterpart. Thank you for having us! We had a wonderful trip!
