It was a fantastic stay! The house is beautiful with stunning views in every direction. It is well-appointed and very comfortable. It has special amenities like a hot tub and party barn. Communication with the host was easy; he responded almost immediately and was quite pleasant. He gave us lots of useful information and even honored a couple of unique requests. This is a super special property.
Check in and communication were super great and easy. The property is absolutely stunning. House is plenty big for group of 10. The house itself is lovely but needs a little tlc in places. Overall a wonderful stay.

We’re disappointed by this review. Our home is always provided in excellent condition and we rarely encounter issues. Unfortunately, your group tampered with smoke and carbon monoxide detectors (as confirmed by ADT alerts), which is a serious safety violation. You also disregarded quiet hours, leading to multiple neighbor complaints and police involvement. We expect respectful behavior from all guests—this experience was far outside of that standard.
This was a great vacation house for our extended family. The property manager was very attentive and responded quickly to any question we asked. Beautiful property and the close proximity to town was especially nice.
This rental was stunning! Such a cool property with so many different spaces for a large group to spend time. Everything was labeled for ease of access (very grateful for this!), we enjoyed many of the amenities, and communication with the host was fast! Wonderful stay with no issues!H
Had a very nice stay at this comfortable place this weekend. Very cool deck outside with a fire pit which was fun for our group of seven. Also has a great barn with ping pong. Very convenient to downtown.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a lovely review! I am thrilled to hear that you and your group enjoyed the deck and fire pit, as well as the barn with ping pong. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and fun space for our guests, and it sounds like we hit the mark with your stay. We're also glad to know that the convenience to downtown added to your experience. It was a pleasure hosting you and your group. You all are five star guests that any host would want to have. I hope to welcome you back for another memorable stay in the near future. Safe travels and warm regards!
The house was perfect for a group of 12 friends up in VT for a golf weekend. The home and the property are beautiful and it’s clear the owners take pride in the property. Close to all that Manchester has to offer and tons to do in the area. Would definitely stay here again.
We were absolutely delighted with our stay at the villa. The house is big, spacious, and most importantly, clean. The house has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. We had both kids and teenagers with us - everyone felt comfortable. Lots of space, a large table for a large company. The location is literally 3 minutes from the city center, where there are many shops and restaurants. 30 minutes from the ski resort. There were no problems with the owner. He responded to messages quickly, very polite. We will be happy to come back here again and will recommend it to our friends.

Mixed Experience
First, the very positive parts:
Once we got into the place, the owner was very responsive. In fact, when I inquired about the iron / ironing board that was represented in the listing, and there was none, he ordered one and had it delivered next. The location is great, and the grounds are beautiful.
Areas that need work: Owner was unresponsive for a week before our arrival, up to and including the day we were to arrive. We arrived at the property, with no instructions on how to get in. There was a “for sale” sign in the yard, and we could not contact the owner. It was very unsettling. We called the realtor, who reached out to the owner , who the called and gave us instructions.
There are sticky notes, literally all over the house, asking you not to use this, and that. Some are instructional, and helpful, many are not. (Please take off your shoes when entering etc.) Not hospitable, in my opinion.
The furniture is mismatched and outdated. It looks like a thrift store collection.
The “Marine Room” bathroom, has two shower heads, a fixed, and handheld. The handheld did not work, at all.
Some of the exterior doors are actually padlocked, from the interior, to prevent use. Seems like an extreme fire hazard, to me.
This was kind of a neat house, but it was not a good value. We paid $5700 for 4 nights. My brother rented a much nicer place, with more room, and more updated, for less money.

Thank you, but your review contains total inaccuracies that need to be addressed.
First, I was not “unresponsive.” You were provided with all necessary details well in advance, including clear entry instructions, photos, and local recommendations. The smart code entry is simple—no other guest has had an issue except you. The problem lies in your understanding, not the instructions.
Your comment that the house is “outdated” is perturbing. This estate was designed by Vermont’s top designer, furnished with high-end pieces, Persian and Afghani rugs, exactly as shown in the listing photos. Describing it as a “thrift store collection” is an unfair exaggeration, likely stemming from personal frustration.
Regarding the iron, I provided one within hours despite the house already having a steamer, a courtesy that most hosts wouldn’t offer. Your failure to acknowledge this effort speaks volumes.
The padlocked doors are a safety feature to keep wildlife out and protect children. With over 10 entrances and five accessible exits, your “fire hazard” claim is entirely false.
The labeled “sticky notes” are there for guest convenience in navigating the home, switches and using appliances. No other guest has complained. Similarly, the request to remove shoes is standard to protect expensive rugs.
Lastly, comparisons to another rental are irrelevant. This is a $2.5 million estate with glowing reviews that reflect its true value. It seems your frustration was misplaced. Bad day perhaps.
