The space:

As you enter through the spacious screened-in porch, you'll find ample seating, a cozy fire pit, and a love seat swing—a perfect spot to relax and take in the natural surroundings. Step inside to discover the breathtaking vaulted ceilings that add an air of grandeur to the space.

The interior boasts a sleek and modern design. The living room features a smart TV for entertainment and easy to connect built-in speakers, while the dining room showcases a raw edge wood table, setting the stage for memorable meals. The kitchen stocked with cooking essentials, coffee station and a pantry provide everything you need to satisfy your culinary desires.

Don't miss the large bean bag in the corner, offering a comfortable spot to observe wildlife through the A-frame window. It also conveniently transforms into a queen mattress for additional sleeping space. However, this isn't counted among the three dedicated bedrooms.

Down the hall, you'll find two bedrooms, each equipped with a plush queen bed and a spacious closet. One of the bedrooms even includes a laundry room for added convenience. Both bedrooms share a luxurious bathroom, featuring a dual rain shower and a massage-inducing rock floor.

Upstairs, the primary bedroom awaits, offering stunning views and a dedicated workspace for those who need to stay connected. The room also features an en-suite bathroom for privacy and comfort.

Venture outside to the backyard and discover an abundance of adventure. Relax in the private hot tub, gather around the fire pit, or make use of the grilling station. Firewood and propane are provided, ensuring hassle-free enjoyment. And yes, our cabin is dog-friendly, so your furry companions can join in on the fun.

For entertainment, we offer a variety of board games, including corn hole and ring toss.


The Neighborhood:

The cabin is located in "The Woods" community, nestled near Hedgesville, WV, where you'll feel like you've entered a charming summer camp retreat. As you drive through the community, you'll notice the unique and beautifully designed homes that add character to the surroundings.

"The Woods" community offers an array of amenities to enhance your stay. Golf enthusiasts will delight in the two nearby golf courses, providing ample opportunities to perfect their swing. When hunger strikes, head to the the clubhouse restaurant for a delicious meal and a cozy atmosphere.

Nature lovers will appreciate the community's proximity to the Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, which is a short 0.5-mile walk away. Explore the scenic hiking trails and immerse yourself in the natural beauty that surrounds you.

For ultimate relaxation and pampering, indulge yourself at the nearby community spa, just a brief five-minute walk away. Treat yourself to rejuvenating treatments and enjoy a tranquil escape from the daily grind.

The house does boast membership to the community pools both indoor and outdoor. One of the outdoor pools is just a short five minute walk away. The gym and clubhouse (also just a short 5 minute walk away) include an indoor pool and hot tub. All of this can be utilized with a guest pass that can be purchased upon your arrival. We also provide a private hot tub at the house, allowing you to unwind and soak in the serene ambiance of your surroundings.

The full house. The cabin is easily accessible via paved roads and has a large parking pad that can accommodate five cars.

Other things to note

We warmly welcome dogs, but kindly request that you keep them on a leash when outside of the house.

If you're visiting the Tomahawk MX track, feel free to ask for a power washer to clean your bikes. We also have a shed with electric outlets for quick maintenance, although please bring your own tools.

The golf courses and spa in the community have additional fees for access and services.

For security purposes, we have three outdoor security cameras—one at the screen door, one at the back door, and one on the shed. These cameras are on and record on motion, but alerts are disabled. If preferred you can turn the two cameras on the house off using a light switch.
