The Neighborhood:
Experience New York City history in one of Harlem’s most beautiful and iconic neighborhoods. Strivers’ Row is a landmark block lined with elegant late-19th-century brownstones, known for their rich architecture, quiet tree-lined streets, and deep cultural roots. Once home to Harlem’s early Black artists, doctors, and musicians, the area still radiates the creative spirit that defined the Harlem Renaissance.
You’ll be staying on one of Harlem’s most photographed and beloved streets — a peaceful, welcoming enclave just minutes from the best the neighborhood has to offer. Walk to the Apollo Theater, Abyssinian Baptist Church, and countless cafés, restaurants, and jazz lounges along Adam Clayton Powell and Frederick Douglass Boulevards.
Whether you’re here to explore the city, enjoy local culture, or relax in an authentic Harlem setting, Strivers’ Row offers the perfect blend of history, comfort, and style — a true Harlem experience you won’t find anywhere else.
Getting Around:
All of Manhattan and the boroughs are accessible from Striver's Row: the A/D express trains at 145th Street and B/C local trains at 135th Street are both a short walk from the apartment. The 2/3 trains are just ten minutes away at 135th Street. Around the corner are five+ bus lines that head east and further west.
