Big Bear Hideaway - Polar Bear Palace log cabin in Boulder Junction

Big Bear Hideaway Resort's Polar Bear Palace cabin is located on the west edge of Boulder Junction within walking distance to town. Built by a local master craftsman, this incredible log cabin gives you the true feel of the Northwoods. From the stained glass windows to the wood burning artwork and heavy duty construction the Polar Bear Palace is the perfect northern Wisconsin getaway.

The cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed. Bedroom 2 has two queen beds and bedroom 3 has one queen bed. There is also a set of bunk beds and 2 additional twin beds located in corners of living space areas. There are 2 full bathrooms, both with showers, and the lower bathroom also has a large clawfoot tub. The spacious kitchen/living room areas have plenty of seating and the kitchen is fully stocked. Satellite TV and WiFi are provided.

There is an outdoor pavilion available for use with charcoal grills, campfire pit and plenty of tables and benches. We supply the firewood. Guests need to bring their own charcoal.

Big Bear Hideaway Resort's Boulder Junction cabins are located on the snowmobile and bike trails. The Heart Of Vilas County Bike Trail has over 50 miles of paved trails to enjoy. There are over 500 miles of snowmobile trails located in Vilas County.

The town of Boulder Junction is just a very short walk from the resort. You will find fabulous restaurants, shops, sporting goods, and your favorite ice cream.
