About Us:
Grouse Haven Cabin was built in 2003-2004 by the current owners. The cabin was named Grouse Haven because while we were building we could hear the Grouse birds in the area “drumming”. The cabin is secluded in a red pine forest with lots of Mother Nature in its surroundings. There are trails for hiking and cross-country skiing. There is also a picnic area located at the lower end of the 90-acre property that you can get to by hiking trails. The cabin is located in the heart of the Finger Lakes with close proximity to Penn Yan, Hammondsport, Watkins Glen, 2-3 miles to Keuka Lake State Park, the Finger Lakes wineries, micro breweries, Keuka college, and more.

Perfect getaway

This house is just enough off the beaten path. Quiet, and no neighbors. There is plenty of space inside. Fully stocked with cooking and eating utensils. The owner has provided books and games. The fireplace was the perfect touch, as we woke up to snow one morning. Not too far from all Keuka has to offer, but a wonderful place to kick up your feet and relax. I loved the added touch of the antiques for the decor!

Beautiful location

The two of us stayed here with our puppy. It was an absolutely amazing location. The cabin was perfect for a quiet and relaxing get away. The setting could not be more secluded allowing for the perfect location to unwind. We cannot wait to return to this property.

Perfect place to unwind!

This is a wonderful cabin off the beaten path! If you’re looking to get out of the hustle and bustle (as we were), this is the perfect place to relax and enjoy some quiet time! Super clean, easy to check in/out, and filled with everything you may need. We traveled with our young kids and dog and everyone loved the entire experience! Thanks for hosting us!
