Everything is private, nothing is shared, private washer/ dryer (2 in one), private entrance, private bathroom kitchen and private patio. Safe place (working smoke and carbon monoxide detectors) with all amenities brand new. Close to University of Delaware ,Christiana Hospital and Christiana Mall.

The surface was clean and nicely decorated. The water pressure in the shower was nice. Her garden was spectacular. The neighborhood was walkable. It was a lovely experience.

The space was cozy. I did not realize when I booked several months ago that it was basically a lower level of a townhouse. It does have a separate entrance with entry doors locked so it did feel mostly private. That is not clear from the listing because it's described as an apartment and private. There is some privacy but the owner also has a very expansive garden to tend to. That foliage also contributed to gnats and fruit flies getting in the unit pretty regularly and of course mosquitoes and there were a few ants by the entryway that I had to use spray for. The space was generally clean but I can tell it hasn't been fully or professionally cleaned just because there were a number webs in ceiling corners and small dead gnats on window sills. Very close to shops Supermarket lots of restaurants so it was easy to get to everything. The in unit laundry was a great feature because it washes and dries and I was able to clean clothes made of mine midstay which was very convenient. The owner very thoughtfully left out some snacks and had water and soda in the refrigerator available which was a nice touch and internet worked great.

Weekend stay while visiting University of Delaware

Our stay in Bear was very nice. The apartment was well stocked and very clean. The location was in a very nice neighborhood and my wife enjoyed jogging in the morning. Plenty of access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants and pharmacies/convenience stores. Uber trips to UD were also convenient and it was a 15-20 ride to campus. We would stay here again.

Wonderful place to stay

Quiet neighborhood. Our room had everything one could ask for. All kitchen appliances. Clothes washer/ dryer, dishes, cups, glasses, etc. Even a selection of water, sodas, and chips to snack on. Beds were comfortable, plenty of TV show options too. Great place for an extended stay.

Peace o Mind

The location was in a very nice safe area. The unit was very comfy and provided me with a much needed break from my routine. I needed the quiet time that helped me tremendously. The unit had very nice updated appliances and seasonings and beverages that was a nice touch. The host was very accessible and easy to communicate with. I would stay here again

The place was perfect for me, my husband and my daughter. It was very clean and the check in process was great. The only issue I had was that the circuit breaker popped and we had no access to the panel to restore the power.
