This extraordinary 6,300-square-foot lodge is within a short walking distance to the Sundance Stables / Nordic Center for horseback riding, cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Among the many attributes of this beautifully appointed luxury residence is it's suitability for large families or groups. Boulder Ridge is an ideal year-round retreat offering 7 spacious bedrooms and a bunkroom for the kids.

There truly isn't a better home for entertaining. With a large theater room, Game Room including: Pool Table, Foosball, Pinball Machine, Basketball "Pop-A-Shot", 80's Arcade Console, and Ping Pong Table, you won't have enough time to enjoy all of the amenities. Not to mention a private hot tub, sauna, and outdoor gathering area.

The property was fun. Being close to the Sundance resort was great. Sundance had the Theatre "Newsies" and pottery classes and night time lift rides and drive the Alpine loop and much more. A great place to stay if you like nearby outdoor activities.

Awesome retreat for large groups

We had a wonderful time staying at this cabin! We rented it with several friends to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, and there was plenty of room for everyone to stay and lots of space to play games, watch movies, and just hang out. The kitchen was well stocked, so we could have easily prepared meals if we wanted. Overall an excellent experience.

Perfect place for our family reunion!

We stayed at Boulder Ridge for a week in July 2023 for our family reunion. The home was beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. The owners were very responsive and helpful. We loved exploring the surrounding area and especially enjoyed relaxing and playing at The Hollow - adults and kids alike loved the zip line! We hope to be back soon! Thank You!

Great Communication & Location

This house was perfect for our group. Plenty of space to work, gather and entertain. The kitchen was fully-stocked with everything you would need and the host was super responsive. We needed more propane for the grill and had some internet issues and Brad was amazing. Would definitely recommend this home for large groups!

Amazing house, very clean and spacious, and great location. Two small glitches: our 4 p.m. check-in was delayed about 30 minutes because the house was still being cleaned, and there weren't any kitchen towels (and the request for some was never met), making meal prep/clean-up a bit tricky, but otherwise a perfect stay.

Family Reunion

We had 5 adults, 6 teenagers, and 2 children under 12. They had a total blast in the basement with all the activities. The house is beautiful and large enough for all to be comfortable and sleep good. The canyon is spectacular and we enjoyed a day at the lake which is close by. Good time for everyone.

Mountain Family Reunion

Boulder Ridge met our needs and expectations: a large common area where we could gather for our nightly happy hour, a game room for the 4 college-age family members, convenient nearby walks and hikes, restful outdoor space for morning coffee and relaxed conversations, a scenic location, and a large dining area so that we could all eat together. In terms of the latter, seating all 12 of us was a bit tight. However, the kitchen was wonderfully supplied for cooking and eating for that many.

Absolutely fantastic place!

I have been to many VRBO’s. This was our favorite place so far. The house was well thought out for vacation needs and so comfortable. Communication with management could not have been better. I received messages each day with information. It was very reassuring to know we could reach out so easily but frankly everything was so well planned we didn’t need help. The house is well stocked with items you may need and has so many places to gather as a family. A total 5!

Excellent Lodge in Beautiful Sundance Resort Area

We've stayed in Sundance in the past, but the Stewart Mountain Lodge Boulder Ridge Lodge was much better. Beautiful lodge. Lots of space. Very well taken care of and clean upon entry. Management is excellent and very attentive. Well worth the expense.

Great start to a new year!

Our family group of 13 was very comfortable with the accommodations. The bedrooms were very well appointed, and the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped, and we loved the games and activities downstairs. The bathrooms were really clean, and the spacious kitchen/dining/family room area were perfect.

Best holiday away from home!!

We could not have planned a better thanksgiving stay for our whole family. The cabin was PERFECT! If anything, the pictures online didn’t do it justice! There were more amenities and more space than we expected! The whole basement was such a great place to hang out for our whole family. We had ping pong tournaments, watched Christmas movies in the theater room, the kids loved the arcade game, and the basketball game was a blast! Kitchen was even more stocked than we anticipated! The beds were beyond comfortable. House was spotless when we arrived, with goodies waiting for us. And the baked good dropped off the next day blew us away! Stewart Mountain Lodge went above and beyond welcoming us and making sure our stay exceeded expectations!

Beautiful Home In Sundance

This is a very nice home with lots of fun things to do in the home (pool table, ping pong and other games as well a very nice home theatre room). Home furnishings are top quality and kitchen has all of the things you’d have at home. There are a lot of fun outdoor activities within 10 minutes of the property.

We changed to Boulder Ridge and had a perfect stay. We had our business meetings at the property and the team loved all the amenities and experience. Wyatt, the property manager, communicated regularly and often. Great experience!

There were a few things that could have been better especially at that price point.

The cabin was beautiful and was to hold 16. We had 15 and we were disappointed that the down stairs tub shower was broke. We also had several cold showers. I guess the water heaters struggled. I also felt like the carpet could have been cleaner. We saw a few bugs maybe it needed to be sprayed for bugs. Maybe I’m being picky but again we don’t pay 1,300 dollars a night very often and I would not expect the things I’ve just mentioned to be a problem. We did have a great time and would love to come again. We especially loved the little zip line area. That was a plus for sure. We love to be together as an extended family and did enjoy this location a lot.

Beautiful home!

Great place for our family Christmas weekend! Home was clean, large and had plenty of room for all of us! The kids loved the pool table, basketball, ping pong and theater room! Check in was easy, with everything ready for us when we got there! We would definitely recommend this place!

Couples ski getaway in heaven

We left the kids at home and treated ourselves to a couples ski getaway. We had five couples and each couple got their own room/bathroom and each room had enough separation that you had plenty of privacy. Plenty to do with with the theatre room, ping pong/pool table, indoor basketball hoop, hot tub and sauna. Close to the resort and easy to find. The whole house Is beautiful and decorated to where you feel you should be paying more to stay in such a nice place. We definitely had a blast and highly recommend this cabin for any large group. Thanks stewart mountain lodging we will be back.
