“The Lookout” provides a relaxing escape on Lake Conroe within the gated April Sound community. This 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home features lake views within a quiet cul d’ sac and a private, fenced in backyard. The Lookout is the perfect retreat for couples and families to enjoy Lake Conroe, play a round of golf or tennis, and take time to explore the many adventures within Montgomery County.
The space
The Lookout comfortably sleeps eight with two king beds and a bunk room with a full and two twin beds. Both king bedrooms have large walk in closets. A pack-n-play is available upon request. Body wash, shampoo and conditioner are included in the bathrooms along with plenty of towels and paper products.

The living room features high ceilings, plenty of seating and tall windows looking out onto Lake Conroe. A large flatscreen television is available with streaming services for guests to use during their stay. The open concept space flows into the kitchen and dining space where guests can cook and enjoy a meal together inside or on the front or back patio. The kitchen is stocked with cook- and bakeware, appliances and includes a full-sized refrigerator, full- sized range and oven, dishwasher, multiple small appliances such as a blender, toaster, panini press, crockpot, and plenty of pantry space for storage.

The front porch is the perfect place to enjoy your coffee or tea and lookout onto beautiful Lake Conroe! The spacious, shaded and fenced-in yard is perfect for guests to gather underneath the stars and play yard games! Walk towards the lake to watch the sunset or take the stairs to swim in the lake. Tie the boat in the same location to grab lunch or refill your cooler.

From ‘The Lookout’ porch you can see across the lake to Margaritaville. Enjoy Conroe’s breweries like B-52 just down the road, wineries such as Bernhardt, theaters and shopping. Celebrate in 16th-century English style at the Texas Renaissance Festival and enjoy live music all around; Conroe was designated a Music Friendly Community by the State of Texas!

- Short-term rental guests are not permitted to bring their own boats into the community entrance. You will have to use a nearby public boat ramp & parking. We will provide suggestions and referrals.

- Vehicle & driver’s information is required for the gate community access.
