Easter family celebration at lake

We live in The Woodlands and store our boat at Safe Harbor in Walden! Our family has lake get together every month to 6 weeks! This was the best one yet! Lots of space and bathrooms. We will definitely stay here again and again when it is available! Thankful for the late checkout. We got to enjoy an extra day!

Great Lake location!

Enjoyed our weekend with family. Large group with young kids and adults. Game room was enjoyed by all! Enough room to spread out but also come together to enjoy meals and games. Loved the location on the lake and fun was had by ALL!!!!

Great place for a vacation

The property was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our guest contact, Dillon, was quick to respond and answered all our questions. There are a lot of great places to eat nearby and there are plenty of things to keep you busy around Lake Conroe. If you want a place to take the family for a vacation this is it.

We had a great time overall, really enjoyed all the activities in the home for the kids. We thought our trip was ruined because the sudden change in weather but the house had so much stuff to do that it made up for not being able to go into the water and do water activities due to weather.

We brought our whole family here for Christmas and we had an awesome experience. There was plenty to do for the kids, from fishing and kayaking to playing in the game room. The house was big enough for us and perfect for gathering in one space to eat and play games. And the accommodate dogs!! We definitely want to come back in the summer!

We had a group and the house came stock with games, game room was great, deck on the water for lounging and cornhole. Very spacious and great location to get to restaurants, lake front, ease in and out. Beds, couches, stay were are comfortable as well. Fun Lakeside Property

We enjoyed our weekend stay at this property. We have had several properties be less than expected and this was definitely not one of those! Plenty of towels, kitchen was well stocked with all of our needs, beds were comfy and we were even able to have our captain for tubing pick us up right at the dock! The driveway is a little narrow (we have a large truck!) and street parking is crowded so I wouldn't plan to bring too many cars but that's not a big deal. It rained nearly the entire time we were there but there was plenty to keep our teenagers occupied while indoors. Highly recommend this property and I would stay again, if in the area!

Wonderful Home for a Large Group

We were in the area in late October 2023 for my granddaughter's wedding. Ten of us stayed in this beautiful home for three nights. We did not make use of the activities on the lake, but we did utilize the game room, the large number of board games available, and the television in the living room where we gathered to watch out favorite college team play. (Our team won, thank you very much). I fell in love with the mattress in the master bedroom which was soooo comfortable. There is sufficient parking space for about four cars. The neighborhood is beautiful and quiet. The property sits on a canal a short distance off the main body of the lake so I think you would be insulated a bit from any negative issues from the lake. We really enjoyed our time here.

The Tale of Two Houses

Overall the house was fine. First some complaints. The second bedroom downstairs shares a bathroom with the master bedroom. It's a Jock and Jill setup with the Master Bedroom. Very uncomfortable. There is a skylight in the second bedroom so the sun wakes you up every day at 6:30. There is also no closet in that room . I assume it was originally a Study or Office. There were a lot of little things that needed updating. Shower heads, outdated faucets, etc. Some of the landscaping was pretty bad and I was not real impressed with the cleaning crew. They did the basics, but left a lot of things untouched. Overall it is not a big deal, but stands out for such a nice house. Now the good. The game room in the airconditioned garage was awesome. We had family over one night and the kids (young and old) really enjoyed that. There is a lot of space for hanging out and the furniture and kitchen are adequate. The AC units worked well and kept us nice and comfortable. Overall it is a fine house.

Daughter’s Wedding Weekend

I will start by saying that being the mother of the bride I didn’t have time to call the owner and tell them the things that were wrong. The house had not been vacuumed since Christmas. There was evidence of green garland all over the stairs and all over the bottom of the banister. One restroom upstairs the toilet had black mold growing in the bowl all around the water line. When I opened the cabinet door under the sink in the master restroom, the knob broke off. None of the machines in the garage game room worked. There wasn’t power to any of the plugs. My husband is a licensed master electrician and he did all the usual trouble shooting by checking breakers and they were not tripped. The main reason I chose this house and paid more than most listings I. This area was so that my grandkids had something to do while we got everything ready for the wedding. Unfortunately that couldn’t happen. This rental was a huge disappointment.

It is regrettable that you were unable to contact us, as rectifying any concerns would have been our utmost priority. We understand the demanding nature of weddings and extend our congratulations to your daughter and your family on this momentous occasion.-Upon thorough inspection, we located and promptly rectified the issues with the kitchen island outlets, both of which had blown GFI plugs. Additionally, we have replaced the toilet, and we extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused. We will be addressing the quality of work with our cleaning service to ensure such issues do not recur, including the removal of garland debris from the staircase and entryway.-Additionally, we have resolved the issues with the games. It seems that excessive activity caused damage to the power cables of the air hockey and Buck Hunter games, both of which have now been repaired. It's worth noting that the basketball and skeeball games remained in working order.-Despite a thorough search, we could not identify any damaged or missing knobs in the master bath, and all drawers and doors were found intact. Please don't hesitate to provide more detailed descriptions of your concerns so that we can address them accurately.We sincerely appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, and we wish you and your family all the best.Our commitment to providing the best possible experience for all our guests is evident in the satisfaction of numerous others who have stayed with us.
