We loved our stay at this beautiful Lake home nestled in a quiet cove! The kitchen was fully stocked which made preparing meals a breeze! Located close to Whit Hollow Marina where we rented a pontoon!

Amazing location, not our favorite house

We have stayed at a number of houses around the lake and absolutely loved this location. It was at the end of a quiet cove, great dock for swimming and for bringing a boat.The house was poor quality for the price and it wasn’t cleaned or prepared properly before our arrival. The kitchen was well appointed but bathrooms lacked extra towels and linens that we have had in other houses.

Lake Dream!

My family and I had some friends from out of town come stay. We chose this property to accommodate our large party, as we are renovating our home and live in a camper. Home is as it is pictured! Stunning! The inside is open and had the perfect space for everyone. Kitchen is fully stocked! (Not food, that’s normal) Dock is perfect for Norris boater’s who have a boat at a nearby marina. Overall we loved the property, the communication was great! I would recommend to anyone. Self Family

Family Friendly Lake House

Great house, location, and cove to relax in! Our group consisted of all ages, and it was nice that the space was open without a bunch of clutter, especially when there are younger kids. The house matched the description within the listing. As others have mentioned the kitchen is fully stocked with supplies, which made it easy when it came to making meals. Driveway provided ample room for trucks and boat trailers, without having a large hill to battle. The dock was easy to walk down to and provided room for the two boats that we brought down. Only downside was the sizeable amount of dog fur that was found throughout the house, which was noticeable with several infant/toddler aged kids. Overall, a wonderful stay and look forward to renting in the 2024 season!

Amazing house, location, and amenities

This trip was our 8th to Norris but our 1st in this location, and this was by far our favorite. With 7 kids ages 10 and under, this was the perfect fit. The three adult couples each had their own space and a separate bunk room for each the boys and girls. The walk down to the dock was the safest and by far the easiest we have ever experienced. This was great for the kids as they swam, paddle boarded, and kayaked in the perfect end-of-cove location in all their free time. The dock was spacious for our boat and safe for the kids to jump off and play in the water. The house offered so much indoor and outdoor space, which was also great for our large group. Communication with the owner was timely, polite, and effective. I would 100% recommend this location to anybody wanting to enjoy the lake! We will most definitely be booking again in the future. Thanks for an amazing week!

Beautiful, spacious-yet-cozy, and private!

We stayed with college friends and their families for 4 nights to enjoy all things Norris, and this house was the perfect choice! It is spacious, newer, clean, and at the end of a cove, it had the privacy we were looking for! The house is stacked with supplies—no need to worry about bringing extra bath towels or kitchen essentials because this house has it! It is honestly the most thoughtful host home we’ve stayed at in terms of providing supplies to make the stay easier. The home also has all the water sport toys you need: lily pad, kayaks, and paddle boards. Our favorite thing about the house, though, was the outdoor porch area. We ate all meals out there and spent as much time on the porch as we could. Eric was a very gracious host! The check-in was a breeze, and Eric’s communication was excellent. We hope to stay again soon to “kick it old school” at his lake house! 😁

Quiet Thanksgiving Getaway!

My family, my parents and two siblings, and I decided to rent this place for Thanksgiving this year, and it was the best decision we ever made! It was so peaceful and quiet out here. The property was very clean and comfortable. The home is spacious and updated but still feels cozy. The large, well-stocked kitchen was perfect for cooking Thanksgiving dinner. There was plenty of seating for everyone and with the living area downstairs we had plenty of room to spread out and play games. The beds were incredibly comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were all very nice. The drive can be a little curvy if you are not used to mountainous back roads, but we are very used to that so it was not a problem. The internet worked great. We had no cell service while we were there (we use Verizon), but that ended up being a welcome break from the real world while we relaxed away from the hustle and bustle of work. The fireplaces were not functional when we were there which was no problem for us, but just in case it is relevant to anyone on a future stay. We very much enjoyed our time here and will hopefully come back to visit in the future! I recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere clean, comfortable, roomy, and relaxing to stay. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze!
