Wynn's place was exactly as shown online. Very clean with great proximity to downtown Jacksonville. Wynn was flexible and offered an early check-in, as we were running ahead of schedule. He always was quick to answer all questions and helped us feel at home. This place is just down the way from my family and we will definitely stay here again and would recommend.

This was an absolutely beautiful location. The area was quiet and the Vrbo wasExactly as advertised and in the pictures.All of us were extremely impressed and comfortable. We spent the week in Jax to see our daughter. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with what we needed for cooking. Everything was great! Nice quiet neighborhood, and convenient to stores, etc. Highly recommend!

Jacksonville Marathon

Great property, great hosts. I wish I hadn’t scheduled up all our time in Jacksonville. Could easily have enjoyed a great trip without ever leaving the house. It’s that good.

The space was very welcoming. Spacious dining area and kitchen. The rooms were a decent size. Bathrooms are a little quaint and there was mold one of the shower curtains. This was very disturbing to see knowing I had my entire family on this trip and they needed to use this restroom daily.

This could have been resolved within an hour if we had been made aware. There was some light discoloration on the shower curtains but I never heard from this guest about it or any others before this. That said I have spares and replaced curtains in both bathrooms the day I saw this response. Not sure why they waited to let me know until writing their review. Easy fix. We truly want our guests to have a pleasant experience .

We love all this city and the beaches area have to offer and love sharing this with our guests. We are outdoors people who enjoy all things water related. Water sports, boating, fishing, scalloping etc.

Why they chose this property

The San Jose area of Jacksonville is full of character with solid brick and block homes built in the 60's in various communities. Betty's Place has been in our family since it was built and we enjoyed bringing it new life with a modern update that still values the original comfort and charm of a home well lived.

What makes this property unique

Original refinished oak wood flooring, a modern kitchen, indoor laundry. Open common spaces give the house a fresh inviting look and dimmable lighting lets you choose your mood. A sun room overlooks the large back yard and opens up to a patio to enjoy the Florida sun under an umbrella with a cold drink in hand. We love this house and think you will too.
