Secluded Oceanview Oasis

It is quite private, with beautiful gardens and places to enjoy the outdoors and that fantastic ocean view. We normally rent houses on or close to the beach, and this was a departure from that; a big view of the ocean in a more private setting, was a lovely change for our annual summer beach trip.The house comfortably accommodated six adults, everyone really appreciating the house, the space and particularly those outdoor areas with views from all angles. Bonus was the master bedroom, upstairs with amazing views and outlook with lots of windows and fresh air. Also noteworthy, the kitchen featured a lot of extra cookware and items that we appreciated as we have cooks in our party and we do have big family dinners at night. We will rent this property again.

Relaxing birthday weekend

We had an excellent stay at this property! It was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend at the coast. Perfect spot to listen to the ocean and stay nice and warm during a winter storm. The place was clean and cozy and dog friendly. Will definitely plan to stay here again on a future trip. Would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet, peaceful and cozy stay.

The View!

A perfect well-stocked house with an amazing view. Will definitely come back in the summer when we can utilize the inviting outdoor space. Had a wonderful stay! Definitely recommend this house.

Lovely Respite

House was as described with lush surroundings and incredible views. Very clean and had everything we needed, including kitchen items - important since we have special diets and cook/eat in. Private yet not too remote. Rained during our long weekend but still cozy and now ready to return in better weather.

The view is amazing.The house is roomy and comfortable and everything you could want is right there. Wonderful beds and linens, very well-equipped kitchen. Large updated bathrooms. We had to make a change 2 days before coming to the beach because my husband had taken a fall and our original house was not accessible enough. The rental agency folks were incredibly helpful in working with us to switch to this house. It is 2 story, but he was able to stay on the main level and easily get from the car to the house. It was so nice dealing with real people with a local office in Manzanita!

Beautiful Ocean View and Sunsets

Everything great - except that the fridge backs up to one of the bedrooms and it is very old and noisy and should be replaced. My brother could not sleep in that bedroom due to the noisy compressor a few inches from his head. So he had to sleep on the couch each night 😟

A very special place!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were drawn to this home and land from the very beginning, and Sunset to Sunset made the process enjoyable and easy. Their entire staff are lovely to interact with! It’s difficult to put into words how beautiful it is to be here — from the sounds of the crashing waves to the all day bird song to the vast ocean and shoreline views — the peacefulness of this land was deeply impactful and so welcoming. The house is laid out really well for an easy flow and the master bedroom has a large walk in closet and connected bathroom. The kitchen has views and is a super place to make a fabulous meal while entertaining or watching the kids. The living and sitting rooms are peaceful spots for a long, enjoyable book read. We were often on the outdoor deck taking in the view by the pretty landscaped garden. Both of our dogs enjoyed the other enclosed grass and garden area as well. Their large outdoor fire pit was a celebratory way to bring in the sunset and the rising of the moon—Maison De La Lune couldn’t be a more perfect name. Thank you for the opportunity to stay at this wonderful home, we highly recommend booking!

Sensational house above the sea

The view is breathtaking, and it was nice to be a little above the water (and thus not subject to the very crisp winds that you feel right at sea level) so as to be able to sit outside, enjoy the sunshine, and gaze at the glorious sea below us. The landscaping around the property is exquisite. And the area is just great -- quieter than bustling Cannon Beach, but in easy striking distance of not just that but so many other sights and good restaurants. We loved visiting Hug Point, Ecola State Park, and Crescent Beach -- all easy drives away. We had no problems at all during our visit and we would happily return to this lovely property in a heartbeat.
