This cabin is beautiful. It's in a gated community so it feels very safe. There is a turn around for the single lane road near the driveway that is a little scary - but it's worth it for the views from the cabin! We ran out of water once but the host was super responsive and literally had someone out to fill it within an hour.Having laundry on vacation is important to us so that was helpfulThe only negative thing i could say is that the lighting around the hot tub was very dim
Pulling up to the property was breathtaking. It rest on top of the mountain and just being there was good for us. It is nice to get out and explore but really staying in the home and enjoying the views and home itself was great. Homeowner was very friendly and responsive, highly recommended.
This is a beautiful, secluded cabin with sunrise and sunset views. Our group, which consisted of four adults and eight kids, thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cabin was GREAT. So nice and large. My family had all the room we needed. The large tables inside and out were excellent. Views outstanding from all of the porches. There were many stairs, lots, but we managed. Sadly we did not see the family of bears of the area but did see bears during our stay in other places in the Smoky's. Thanks for such a great place to stay.
The house was amazing. We had 7 adults 1 child and a 1 year old. This house is 3 levels, loaded with games, and the garage has a pool table. We brought baby gates for the stairs which is a must, there are lots of stairs. The beds were super comfy, the water was hot and plenty of it with so many people to shower. The house is super quiet at night, and dark being up in the hills. This house is up a very steep windy road, with a steep driveway. After a little practice, our nerves were better lol but that shouldnt discourage you from staying here. There are 2 levels of decks, one wraps around. Tons of seating, chairs, swings, and a hot tub. We did see the bears, they came right up to the house. A mama and her cubs. The house is super updated with appliances, and the decor was great!! Youll love staying here, we didnt want to leave. Also youre about 5 miles from Townsend, you have gas stations and a grocery store close by for essentials, and youre 25 min from Pigeon Forge. Amazing, highly recommend, youll have the best stay!

No water
We stayed here for two days- its a beautifull property- our only complaint is that there was no water at all- 11 of us stayed here and only two of us were able to shower for 2 minutes each before the water dried up. We mentioned it to the owner and he was supposed to send someone out but it did not fix the problem we still had no water
beautiful! the view was amazing! there was a problem with the water filtration system, but the communication was very prompt, clear, and super nice. my husband and I took our 5 grown children, their partners, and two small grandkids....PLENTY OF ROOM! wrap around deck was lovely and perfect for morning coffee. beds were super comfy! and plenty of cookware for making breakfast for everyone. grocery store and gas station and a country dinner within 5 miles. would definitely stay again!!! also a helpful note to those this applies to....one of our children is severely autistic, and although the stairs were a learning curve for her, she LOVED sitting in the swing on the balcony when she needed space from everyone, and had a wonderful time in the game room! it was also very secluded, so when she was shout or get overly loud, I felt like we were not intruding on others' vacation, which made our vacation so much more relaxing!
Renter beware - Property manager is hostile and far from accommodating. Two hours before our check-in the property manager emailed us stating there was no water in the cabin. He presented us with an ultimatum: cancel our stay or provide another property. With limited options at such a late hour, we reluctantly agreed to the latter (Big mistake).
The replacement property offered was a stark contrast to the cabin we had initially booked. Instead of the breathtaking views of the Smoky Mountains, we found ourselves in a mountain valley with no view whatsoever. That night we tried to contact the property manager several times to discuss the rental agreement cost and VRBO as well but to no avail…both parties kept all of our money.
Please note that the property manager uses a third-party payment system and a renter's agreement that may contain unfavorable terms. Given our negative experience, we strongly advise potential renters to exercise caution and consider alternative accommodations.
This was an unforgettable nightmare vacation experience.
The house and surroundings are absolutely stunning. During our stay, on the 4th day the septic tank was pumped. This led to the entire porch and front room smelling like sewage for an hour which was absolutely disgusting. My small toddler who is sensitive to smells was miserable, & we had to leave the home for a while. We had no notice of this occurring, or we would have left beforehand to avoid the smell. We ran out of water that same night, and half of our party (7 people) were unable to shower or bathe after spending a full day at Dollywood in the summer heat. We could not flush toilets without using buckets of water from the hot tub. We were not told ahead of time to be conservative with the water we had. We did receive a delivery of water the next day around 4pm, but having 13 people in a home using toilets with no water for nearly 24hrs was not expected or fun. The homeowner offered nothing for the inconveniences we encountered, aside from a brief response that they were working on the situation. I feel like we should have at least had one night refunded considering we paid for a home with amenities and were without for quite some time. I would recommend this home to others, but would advise them to be aware of the water situation. Considering the cost of our stay in this home, I expected to have the basics during our entire stay, and that simply was not the case. Overall we had a wonderful time & the home as well as the area it was located was gorgeous.
