Far enough away from everything to feel secluded but close enough to be convenient. Would definitely recommend

A perfect cozy cabin in RRG for the common adventurer. I really liked the backyard features with rock formations and a short hiking path. Cabin was clean, enjoyed the balcony and hot tub outside! Thanks for a good stay!

Everything was great, I did not find any laundry detergent to start the load of towels, other than that it was excellent

As long as your pets will use stairs this place was very welcoming. Unfortunately we have a dog that refuses to use the stairs so it was rough carrying her up and down until we figured out she would just go up the side of the mountain. Both our dogs seemed to really enjoy the area. The humans had a great stay as well. The hot tub was a great way to end the day and relax. The area as a whole was great and we all enjoyed our little vacation. I would recommend this to anyone.

Cabin was nice and clean view is breathtaking. Could definitely use some attention to the back door and the loose steps but overall our weekend get away was great.
Quaint, beautiful, secluded but not isolated. Perfect for my retreat! There were mouse droppings in the kitchen though.

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We’re glad to hear you enjoyed the cabin overall. If there’s anything specific we could improve for future guests, we’d love to hear your suggestions. We always appreciate input that helps us make each stay even better
I feel like the road up the mountain has places where cars have to lose momentum due to pot holes or surface change. The only thing I would change is the conditions of the road

Hey Van, Thank you so much for your 10/10 rating! We’re glad you enjoyed your stay with us. We'd like to share that the steepest part of this road is full paved and mostly smooth! would love to welcome you back to any of our RRG Getaways properties anytime.
It's a sweet little cabin. It met our needs and the view was so nice. Hot tub was clean and perfect temp. Highly recommend watching the sunrise from the hot tub. The management is responsive and kind. Mice are still a problem, we had to do a fair bit of cleaning before cooking. Windows, have smudges, etc.The bathroom was clean and the everything was tidy and modern. The scramble up the cliff behind was fun and not too hard for my out of shape self. The cabin next to it is susprisingly close, but you don't really see any other cabins while you are inside. Location is great, so close to the best of the Gorge.

Hey there,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review! We’re really happy to hear you enjoyed the cabin, the views, and especially watching the sunrise from the hot tub, it’s truly one of our favorite moments too! We’re also glad our team was responsive and that the location made it easy to enjoy the best of the Gorge.
We sincerely appreciate you bringing the mice and window smudges to our attention. Being in a wooded, rural area can sometimes present challenges, but we do have pest control in place and will continue taking extra preventative measures to improve this. We’ll also make sure housekeeping gives extra attention to the windows moving forward.
Thanks again for staying with us — we’d love to host you again on your next trip to the Gorge!
Loved it! Secluded quite and slightly difficult to find but hey, that’s what we want! I got so much studying done checking out was easy. It’s the perfect location to finally unplug. I was sad to leave! Slade was great! If you’re looking for a nice very interesting from an architectural standpoint cabin. Then this is it! It perfectly in the middle of. Nothing! Outstanding! There were former reviews talking about the bed, I broke my back in 2019 and slept great in it. We found a few mouse droppings, not may at all considering YOU'RE IN THE WOODS! Steps were brand new with tags still on the wood. Path could be difficult I guess if you were in a low rider? I’ll be back!

The steps and bridge leading up to the property needs repair. The door from the bedroom to the deck where the hot tub is would not stay shut without locking it from the inside and the extra bolt on the door didn't work. The interior was nice. Would have been nice to have larger towels and an antenna for the TV to at least get local channels. We did have a nice stay anyway.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re glad you enjoyed the interior and had a nice stay overall. Our maintenance team has been notified to inspect the steps, bridge, and door. The cabin does not include cable or local channels, as noted in the listing, but guests are welcome to stream through the smart TV apps using their own accounts.
Driveway coming in for the first time was a bit steep and nerve whacking when someone was coming down with no where to pull off. Got the lay of the land and it wasn't an issue after.

Thank you for the great rating! We know the main road can feel a bit steep the first time in, but we’re glad you got comfortable with it and enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you sharing your experience for future guests — hope to host you again soon!
Bed was very uncomfortable it needs to be replaced with a more comfortable one and the back door needs to be fixed it barely locks, and the stairs going up to the cabin need better lighting when dark and some of the steps are rotten, and the parking could be little larger , because it’s hard to turn around and then back up to the stairs
