About this property
Treetop Designer Cabin · Hot Tub · Red River Gorge
Canopy 9 — Treetop Cabin, Red River Gorge
Canopy 9 sits in the treetops of Red River Gorge with a wall of windows facing the ridge, curated pink accents throughout, and enough space to completely decompress. Mid-century modern design, a hot tub under the stars, a yoga deck, 140 private acres of hardwood forest, and a pink Keurig waiting on the counter. Come as you are. Leave better.
What You'll Love:
✔ The Aesthetic — Curated pink accents, thoughtful design details, and a space that photographs exactly as good as it feels ✔ Wall of Windows — Unobstructed ridgeline views and morning light that earns its own itinerary slot ✔ Hot Tub Under the Stars — Non-negotiable after a day on the trails ✔ Yoga Deck in the Loft — Mats, blocks, foam roller, and a view that actually makes you use them ✔ Wraparound Deck — Sunrise coffee, sunset wine, no agenda required ✔ Fire Pit & Hammocks — The evening plans, already handled ✔ 140 Private Acres — No guided tours, no rope lines. Just hardwood forest built for wandering
The Layout
Main Level — Open & Designed to Linger A retro-modern kitchen with pink accents and everything you need to actually cook, a living space built for connection, and a queen bedroom with a memory foam mattress and full bath with a tub/shower combo for soaking or rinsing depending on how the day went. Walk-in closet and in-unit laundry included.
Loft — Stretch, Sleep, Breathe
A floating staircase leads to two twin beds, bean bag chairs, and a dedicated yoga deck with mats, blocks, and a foam roller. Sunrise salutations with a ridgeline view... it's a thing here. The loft sleeping area was designed with tiny home intentionality — an angled ceiling that wraps around you like a treehouse hideaway, accessed by custom Italian-imported stairs. It’s the kind of space that makes older kids and teens feel like they got the best spot in the house. (They did.) Best suited for children and younger teens rather than adults who need full standing room or very young children.
Lower Level — Rainy Day, Lazy Morning, Perfect Night In
Record player, curated book collection, board games, Amazon Fire TV, and a half-bath so you don't lose your spot. Sliding doors open to the hammock zone. This level carries its weight.
Outside
The hot tub is best after dark. The deck is best at dawn. The fire pit works at any hour. This is 140 acres of unfenced land, wander through the trees, find the rock formations, follow the sound of water. Leave it as you found it.
Remote Work-Friendly (If You Must) High-speed fiber optic WiFi, dedicated workspace, strong cell service from the ridge. The gorge will still be there when you close the laptop.
Traveling with a Larger Crew?
Canopy 7 sits right next door! Same 140 acres, same amenities, completely separate cabin. Two groups, two hot tubs, one shared fire pit and 140 acres between you. Ideal for families, friend groups, or two couples who want to be close without being on top of each other. Ask about booking both.
What You Should Know:
✔ Self check-in and checkout ✔ One locked owner's closet — everything else is yours ✔ Exterior camera at entryway only — hot tub stays private ✔ Pet-free property ✔ Damage deposit hold required to book ✔ Gravel road, accessible for any vehicle ✔ City water — clean and reliable
Canopy 9 is ready when you are. Pack the pink Stanley, charge the camera, and let the gorge do the rest. Must be 21+ to book, sign a rental agreement & reserve refundable deposit.

The cabin was super clean, beds were comfy it's in a good location for gorge activities and is reasonable priced. Host was also very.communitve with a good coded website
The cabin was perfect for us! Our GPS said we had arrived and we hadn’t so I text the host for helo and they messaged back SO quick! We loved the guide book they send with trails and things to do and eat. Such a great stay and our little guy cried because he want to stay longer (we did too)
The place was super clean on arrival, and very close to the park. It included a lot of pantry staples and other perks. The hot tub was specially relaxing after a long day of hike. Downstairs room is also super spacious and cozy.
Everything was great! Very nice and peaceful/quiet place.

Great place for a quiet getaway
Wonderful place to stay! Clean, quiet, and central to everything. The amenities can't be beat, and don't forget to look up at night! The stargazing is spectacular.
Cute little cabin in the woods. It was all that we were expecting. Enjoyed the hot tub after a long hike day. I wish there was a fan in the bedrooms but otherwise excellent.
Perfect for our family weekend to Red River Gorge! We cooked, grilled, built a fire, played records, and used the hot tub! We rarely get to enjoy all the amenities of a vrbo, but we made time here! Peaceful and quiet. Plenty to do in any weather!
Short one night stay. Was a perfect place to break up our drive. We checked in, hit two short trails (sky bridge and princess arch) and headed back to the cabin for hot dogs on the grill and relaxing in the hot tub. Got a good nights sleep and hit the road. It was just what we were looking for and super cute inside. Clean as well.

Cozy and clean
We stayed in canopy 9. My daughter celebrated her beautiful wedding at Hemlock Springs, which is just a few minutes down the road. The cabin was very clean. We had plenty of room. I didn’t realize that there was a basement with a sitting area, which made it even better. The hot tub was wonderful. Just a few things that I would suggest to the owners are adding one more TV and the shower water was either too hot or cold. Thanks for a wonderful stay! 😊😊

A wonderful space, beautiful nature, and amazing amenities!
My husband and I came to visit the weekend of Valentine’s Day. We came to unplug, unwind, and relax. When we arrived (at dark) the outdoor lights were on and welcoming. The space was unbelievably clean!! Like literally! I’m a pretty easy going person and don’t hold high standards and I was floored at how clean everything was. The space was perfect! Plenty of room to space out if you had more than two. We loved the outdoor space! My husband got three fires going while there. The hot tub was a perfect 102 degrees. Pleasantly surprised with the hot water keeping up with showers and dishes! We enjoyed cooking and soooo happy at the welcome/started items in the property. The bed was comfortable. We did grab the pillows from upstairs for extra but not necessary. Host was super responsive! We’ll definitely be back!!
Where to begin!!! This house was maybe the best short term rental we’ve ever stayed in! Just so well done! Everything we needed was there. The hot tub was awesome. The kitchen was well equipped. The bed was comfortable. We didn’t take advantage of the fire pit but we did rest in the hammocks for a bit! Everything functioned perfectly! There were only two of us but we imagined it would be a great place to bring our grandkids! Also close to Natural Bridge and Red River Gorge geographical Area.
Very accommodating, kept in touch if I had questions, very clean, everything there you need above the tree tops! Relaxing & peaceful loved it! Great hosts from beginning to end!
We're Vacation Alchemist: a small hosting operation with two cabins, one property, and a lot of opinions about what makes a stay actually worth taking.
Canopy 9 started with a simple idea: the right space should feel like it was designed for you. The pink accents aren't an afterthought, they're the point. Every detail from the Keurig to the bedding was chosen with a specific guest in mind: the group that plans the trip, the one who picks the place, the person who knows the difference between a cabin that's just functional and one that actually feels special.
We live close enough to care and hands-off enough to let you breathe. You'll hear from us before arrival with everything you need, and we're a text away if anything comes up. After that, the gorge is yours.
If Canopy 9 feels like your kind of place, it probably is.
Why they chose this property
Why Canopy 9?
Because most cabins are functional. This one is intentional. The pink accents, the curated kitchen, the bedding, none of it is accidental. Canopy 9 was designed for guests who want the gorge adventure and a space that actually feels like somewhere. Wall of windows facing the ridge, yoga deck in the loft, hot tub after dark, 140 private acres to wander. It photographs as good as it feels.
It's also one half of something larger. Canopy 7 sits right next door. Two complete cabins, one property, perfect for groups who want their own space with a shared fire pit between them.
If you've been scrolling and this is the one that stopped you, that's the answer.
What makes this property unique
What Makes Canopy 9 Different
The details are the point. ✔ The Pink Aesthetic — From the Keurig to the bedding to the accents throughout, Canopy 9 was designed with intention. It's curated, it's cohesive, and it photographs exactly as good as it feels in person. ✔ Wall of Windows — Floor-to-ceiling forest views that make you want to sit still for a minute. Or an hour. ✔ Hot Tub Under the Stars — Private, heated, and best enjoyed after a long day on the trails with nowhere to be tomorrow. ✔ Yoga Deck in the Loft — Mats, blocks, and a foam roller waiting for you. Sunrise sessions with a ridgeline view are the kind of thing you'll actually do here. ✔ 140 Private Acres — No managed trails, no tour groups. Wander the hardwoods, find the rock formations, follow the sound of water. It's all yours. ✔ Record Player, Board Games, Fire TV — For the evenings when the fire pit isn't enough and the group needs a reason to stay in. ✔ Right Next Door to Canopy 7 — Traveling with a larger crew? Both cabins sit on the same property — two complete, private spaces with a shared fire pit. The ideal setup for families or friend groups who want their own cabin without being far apart. One cabin. One property. Designed to feel like it was made for you. Because it was.
