About this property
Log Cabin on 5 acres with amazing deck facing Granite Mountain
Relax with family and friends in the Log Cabin at Road Runner Crossing, peacefully nestled among native pine, oaks, shrubs and meadows in Prescott's picturesque Williamson Valley. Feel like you're at your own private ranch. Sit back on the covered deck and take in expansive views of Granite Mountain. Enjoy ever-changing open skies, colorful sunsets and dark starry nights. It’s a countryside setting away from it all, yet only 20 minutes to downtown. Traveling with horses? We have stabling (as space permits).
Inside the log cabin are 4 comfortable bedrooms, 3 renovated bathrooms, a great room and new kitchen, and laundry, all designed to host guests as a modern, restful space with western flair. Relax in the sauna. Sit in the covered alcove with the fire pit. Swing or rock or just chill on the deck. Have dinner in the dining pavilion with mosquito netting. Enjoy the vistas and wide open spaces Road Runner Crossing has to offer.
The log cabin and covered parking in the garage are yours to use. The separate guest house adjacent to the garage will be available sometime in the future. You can also enjoy walking on the bridle/walking path that encircles our two adjacent properties on 13 acres. In addition, we have a Sports Court, with a basketball hoop and a net for pickleball, badminton etc. These amenities are shared by several other guest homes and spaces on the properties as well as by the owners and their family.

About the host
Hosted by Jane Williams

We are Jane & Richard Williams. I'm originally from CT where my grandparents ran the Halstead House, a beach-front bed & breakfast for probably 50+ years in Crescent Beach as well as a restaurant & bathhouse for many of those years. My husband's parents have vacation rentals in CA and Hawaii. We enjoy hospitality! Our small Oak Meadows Ranch is on the adjacent property with 4 horses and our dog Buddy the springer spaniel.
Why they chose this property
We love this neighborhood of oak and pine trees, native shrubs and natural meadows in the Williamson Valley area of Prescott. The homes on this street are all 5+ acres, and we have state trust grazing land on one side, plus its only a mile from the trailhead. Its is only 15-20 minutes from town, but a world away!
What makes this property unique
This log cabin was built in the 1960's and basically was pretty much unchanged until we lovingly restored and modernized it. It has sweeping views, great privacy, an awesome covered deck that stays pretty dry during most of our monsoons, a fun little dining pavilion, a cozy swing and firepit alcove, and it has such a fun and warm interior! Plus you can walk next door and use our Sports Court!
