Great place! Location was central to everything. Amazing sunrises. Saw a school of dolphins playing in the water. Hot tub was great to relax in. Kitchen was spacious, open living area and beds were comfortable. A few grocery stores down the street to shop at for anything you didn’t bring.

Fantastic oceanfront beach house

This home was perfect for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. It was very clean, the updated kitchen was well stocked, and there was plenty of seating. We enjoyed being able to walk right onto the beach or enjoy the view from the deck chairs. Restaurants and shopping are close by. We hope to return some day!

We had an amazing stay at Gracie Bell's-Anita is the best VRBO host we have ever had. So responsive with any questions I had before and during trip, home was immaculate, hot tub was incredible and cleaned twice while we were there, which was great! Memorable Family Vacation

This Vrbo has excellent beds and pillows. It is very clean. The kitchen is exceptionally clean and well equipped.The outdoor stairs leading to the front door are steep and wouldn’t be safe for elderly guests especially when carrying suitcases and other supplies. We were disappointed that the windows toward the ocean don’t open so we could not hear the waves from indoors. The window screens were the only thing not well maintained.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts about your recent stay at our cottage. We truly value your feedback and are always striving to improve the experience for our guests. While we’re delighted to hear about the aspects you enjoyed, I wanted to take a moment to address the concerns you raised. As I explained before you booked your stay, I was unaware of a 10% discount being applied to our listing. I reached out to VRBO and they attributed it to a “glitch in the system”. I clarified that we were unable to offer the discount and I adjusted the rental rate accordingly. One of the pros you mentioned was the affordability. The rental rate for our cottage is in line with, if not less expensive than, compatible oceanfront rentals. Additionally, we have not increased our rates during peak season for the past 5 years. We request guests leave the cottage in the condition they would like to find it. This ensures that the cleaner can complete her work within a reasonable time. Our cleaner, who has been with us for over 10 years, rarely charges additional fees. However, if extra cleaning is required due to significant messes or damages, additional charges are applied. In this case, our cleaner spent an extra two hours addressing issues such as stained couch cushions (every cushion on both couches required laundering which takes a great amount of time), marker stains on the floor and bunk bedding (bedding was soaked and washed 2x to get it out), and other issues I attempted to review with you before charging the extra cleaning fee but did not receive a response. Transparency and open communication are important to us, and I hope this message provides clarity and context regarding the points you mentioned. Warm regards, Anita Ellis

A Cozy Oceanside Gem

It felt like we were staying in a well loved family home by the ocean. We ranged in age from 16 months old to 88 years old and were all at home. Great grandma needed a little help climbing the stairs up to the house, but once inside didn’t have to worry about stairs inside the house. Clean, comfortable with great views of the dunes and ocean and the best hot tub I’ve soaked in. Thankful to have stayed here. Great proximity to stores and restaurants. Highly recommended.
