Lovely condo with breath-taking views. Only issue was that the roof leaked on us in the main bedroom with the coastal storms but Padre Escapes was quick to reply and provide replacement bedding. Regardless, we would stay here again!

The condo was very nice. Beds were a little too hard for us but was ok. We enjoyed having a dock right in our back door but no fish sadly. Enjoyed the pool. Laundrymat was a little pricey. Location was near to everything. That was a plus

This was a great place to gather with family and friends for a month. The warm weather was a bonus. We had plenty of room for big meals and games when we weren’t fishing. The catch wasn’t always great but that’s why it’s called fishing. We would definitely return if the availability meets our schedule. Looking forward to a return trip.

My favorite were all the windows facing the canal ,I loved seeing the water steadily flowing by in a gentle flow and the occasional small boats and canoes. I felt very happy to surprise my family with such a magical place. My most precious moment was the last evening shared with my elderly sister sitting in the patio by the water watching and taking pictures of the magical sunset. PS: there was plenty of parking spaces. Thank you to Heather and the entire home team for their gracious support and assistance.

Perfect place for relaxation

Immediately noticed how clean and well equipped this house was. The rooms were clean and large with plenty of place for your belongings. The kitchen and gathering areas were large and roomy. The dining area had a large table which was perfect for our family as we love to play board games. The views were amazing and we loved sitting down by the water and fished every evening. The complex was quiet and tidy. We did enjoy the pool as well. Overall the stay was near perfect and we stay a lot of places.

Filthy on Sunday of our stay, we had chosen to stay off the beach that day to enjoy the nice pool; we spent the first 30 minutes cleaning the skum floating on top of the water; pool water smelled like urine; looked like someone may have thrown up in the water. Very disappointing pool experience!

Best location and overall amazing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location cannot be beat! The corner spot on the canal had an amazing variety of fish for my boys and husband to catch. It was very quiet and peaceful as well and I felt very safe. The kitchen had everything for cooking while we were there: strainers, spatulas, musing bowls, cutting boards, roasting pan, plenty of utensils, knives, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils. The place was clean and everyone except (4 others) me thought the beds were very comfortable-it’s was a bit hard for me and I slept on the couch thr last night which was better for me. The laundry facilities had card operated machines which was nice so I didn’t have to get a ring of quarters. One dryer worked great and one I had to run the load a second time. The garbage disposal sometimes worked and sometimes it did not-I couldn’t quite figure that out. We did find a dead cockroach held under the fridge, and a mostly dead one in the hallway bathroom one morning, but I’m sure that’s just one of those things that happen and not because of the place being dirty or anything. A pest control person even sprayed inside and out as party of their regular maintenance so that was reassuring. The pool was nice and clean but we didn’t not have time to get in because were were out fishing or sightseeing the whole time.

My Veterans Day weekend getaway

This condo was perfect I loved the layout and the closeness to the water and even though it rained the entire weekend this was the perfect view from inside and out. and I fished in the rain and landed 1 33 inch Black drum and two sea trout that were 16 & 18 inches. The drum went back in the water and the sea trout went home with me. White pelicans circled lighted water in the canal to view at night. condo had everything you could possibly need, very clean and modern.
