Beautiful property in secluded corner of Lake of the Woods. Awesome having our own dock, and the fishing was fantastic. Sarah is a very responsive host and will make sure everyone enjoys their stay.
What a great experience. Sarah and Ray provided everything needed for a great stay, the cabin was even better than expected, and its location could not be beat. Will definitely be returning.
A great place tucked back in the woods on a quiet bay. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. The boat landing and dock was a huge time saver and the lake toys were a nice addition. The only thing that could have been better was access to laundry as we had some rainy days fishing.
Great property that works very well for our fishing group. Beautiful views and comfortable place. The only real issue was the water pressure was very poor and with 8 guys it made showering fairly difficult. The boat launch and dock were in better shape than last year. Overall great place.
We loved our stay here. The cabin was clean and comfortable. It was great to have such a nice place to relax after fishing all day. We definitely would love to come back again. One recommendation would be to have an info book for guests to outline things, such as what to do with trash, fish cleaning remains, and check out…what to do with bed linens and towels. Thanks to the owners for a great stay!
Stayed as a group of 7 adults male from Chicago for a fishing trip. This cabin is one of most beautiful properties in the area. Cabin itself is super clean and comfortable, plenty of room all the amenities you want. Views are spectacular. Fishing was great. Sarah is a great host. We had a blast. Its perfect for families, friends, couples. Highly recommended.
Unlike the VRBO commercials and the actual listing, be prepared to stay with an overbearing owner occupying 2 of the bedrooms and in a rv in the parking lot, no privacy
This property is absolutely beautiful. We booked this cabin for our friend’s bachelorette and it was absolutely perfect for the 9 of us. Sarah was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early so we could set up before the bride to be came. She also allowed us to leave our trailer at the property after check out so we could go into Sioux narrows for lunch.
Our group had a great time at Twin Oaks. The accommodations were as listed. The kitchen was a little under equipped but we managed. Great views and good times had by all. Dock and fish cleaning house were a must for us and they both worked out well. The owner was very easy to talk to and prompt to answering questions.
Great hosts (who stay unobtrusively on the same property), and a beautiful log cabin on a quiet part of the bay. Good SUP and canoe for guests to use. Useful outdoor grill and outdoor table/furniture.
Would recommend slightly more clear directions, or a sign at the final fork in the road (go left). Minor recommendation, but otherwise a really ideal cottage for a family, on a beautiful and picturesque part of the bay. Would happily stay again.
Just stayed at Twin Oaks with some buddies for a fishing trip. Great cabin. Very clean and nice. So nice to be able to put in and take the boats out right there. Fishing was great as well. There's a decent chance we will be back. Only complaint was the water pressure could run low and sometimes, just shut off for a short time. Made showers interesting a couple times, but some of that is to be expected off the beaten path. I did not meet Sarah, but she was extremely timely with reponses to any questions or concerns which was very appreciated. 5 stars
We had a group of four and were there to fish and relax. The house and property were fantastic for our purposes. I can't imagine needing anymore in terms of amenities. The house is fully stocked and having the boat dock and boat ramp right next to each other is wonderful. The owners were extremely responsive and were typically on the property site, but not intrusive in any way. Their attention to detail is more than I have seen in any other VRBO I've stayed. They know how to run a business. We have already discussed returning to this property. Thank you Sarah for a great experience!
