Come relax in our open floor plan 4 bedroom country home surrounded by hardwood and pine forest. The bedrooms consist of 1-King bed, 3-Queen beds. There are oversize front and back porches to sit and enjoy the fresh air and nature. No Pets Allowed..

You can go fishing in our private 7 acre pond located behind the house.

Great home base for Crater of Diamonds

We enjoyed our stay here while in town to visit the Crater of Diamonds state park. Comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful yard. The kids loved the basketball hoop and the pond.

This house is perfect for large families. It was stocked with plenty of pots/pans, towels, blankets, etc. The lake is beautiful! It was so quiet and peaceful. Most afternoons, we spent time on the porch enjoying the sounds of nature. We didn't find any diamonds, but there's always next time!

Excellent Property

This property was perfect for a family vacation. There were supplies provided for diamond digging, the lake was a great place to fish, and the house was clean. The kids really enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again.

Great family trip

Great family vacation. This is a great place to spend quality time together as a family. Lots of games, fishing, and access to the state park. The house was perfect and the owners were friendly and helpful. Anyone needing time away or bonding time, this is the place to go.

Diamond Dig 2025

Shady Pines will offer you a clean, quiet, and relaxing home to stay when you are in need of a place to rest up. We stayed for three nights while we were in town to dig for diamonds. We were four adults and Shady Pines provided us all with plenty of space to relax and enjoy our time together. Having the washer and dryer was a big plus so we could wash our clothes after a day of digging. The value for what Shady Pines offers is great! I recommend Shady Pines for the reasons noted above, plus the host was always available when needed.

Relaxing Stay

We had an amazing time! Private pond was gorgeous. My teens only fussed the first hour about missing WiFi. The hosts went over and above. Thanks for a great stay.

Awesome Place

Our family of 4 had a great time. The house was 5 minutes from Crater of the Diamonds State Park which made getting to and from the park easy. We had fun fishing in the pond and enjoyed the view from the back porch. The house was clean and had everything we needed.

Beautiful Ranch home

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean with a wonderfully stocked kitchen. Very spacious relaxing setting loved the covered porch. The bedrooms are large, and beds were very comfortable! The pond is awesome, don't forget your fishing gear if you like to fish. The location if great so close to Crater of Diamonds State Park and downtown Murfreesboro. I recommend this home to anyone traveling to this area.

Perfect location for Diamond Crater SP

Minutes away to the park; provided equipment was a nice bonus! Absolutely beautiful pond to admire and fish! Kids enjoyed fishing more than Diamond hunting. Ha!

Best getaway to unplug and reset

The best way I can describe the property is camping with a house. The absolute to fish on property, sit on the porch and enjoy a good book or make a fire and make s’mores is something our family loved. Cell phone reception is horrible so it allowed us to truly unplug and reset as a family. We loved it and will be back soon.

Springtime Retreat

Shady Pines provided a comfortable, fun, family-friendly stay. We’d read about the property’s “finishing ’ hole” and were blown away by the beauty of the 9 acre pond. We enjoyed the peaceful area very much. It was a pleasure meeting Ms. Tammy & Ms. Martha! 🌺 Shady Pines is definitely worth a return visit. P.S. Thanks so much for the yummy brownies!!

Reunion while looking for diamonds

The house was perfect couldn't ask for a better place to stay. Everything you needed except food was available.We were all adults in our 60s but it is also a great place to bring kids so much for them to do also close to Diamond mine was a plus.The only problem we had was when we got to the last brownie Lol great job Scott. We will be back thanks for having us.

Secluded Retreat

Shady Pines was a perfect place to stay! Quiet, secluded and roomy. We were able to spread out, take a walk to the lake or be all together in the spacious kitchen to put puzzles together and play cards after a long day at the Crater of Diamonds, which is right down the road. Besides the delicious brownies, the wagon and buckets were an added bonus! The ONLY thing we were a little disappointed about had nothing to do with Shady Pines...it was not being able to have a Marguerita with our food at the Mexican restaurant in town but the food and service made up for it. We didnt know we were in a dry county but hopefully after May 1st that will change for Telingas. All in all it was fabulous! Thank you!

Country living at its best

Scott Graves was simply the best host that anybody could ask for, the house was very beautiful, We all felt like we were home in a cottage in the country, the lake was beautiful and the boat ride was just a wonderful experience, they have a fire pit that made spending time with family a special treat which is so rear in this busy world of ours today. Spending time with family is crucial and finding the right spot to do it with your family other than home is this beautiful heaven on earth, everything about this place is beyond my expectation, Truly a relaxing experience. The towns people of Murfreesboro made us all feel like we were one of their own. I highly recommend this to everybody. I would love to rate this place 100 stars if I could but unfortunately I can only give the rating of what the questioner was asking, which is the five star rating. 👍🙏🕊️❤️‍🔥

Quiet peaceful place!

We really enjoyed staying here for a long weekend. The manager responded promptly to all questions and it had mining equipment we borrowed to go to the Crater of Diamonds. I recommend bringing all your food and drinks because there is not a lot close by, nor restaurants. This place is very quiet and private which we loved. We slept great on the comfortable beds, and had a great time fishing in the big pond. The only thing we were a little disappointed over was that we had read about everyone getting brownies when they arrived, and would’ve liked to have tried some but I guess there weren’t any this time. The oven was on when we arrived which was a little strange, and the bbq grates definitely need to be replaced. It’s really not healthy to cook on all that rust. Otherwise this is the place to be if you want a quiet, serene, restful escape!

Loved Loved!! The house was very cozy and beautifully decorated. Outside was very serine, loved the location. Had neighbors but very quiet, tall beautiful trees. Loved, loved the pond with the boat. The location is perfect, just down the road from the Crater of the Diamond State Park. Not to far from town to do some shopping, dinning. Will %100 be back. Thank you again.
