Nice spot. Quiet. Close to everything. Bath and kitchen could have been cleaner. Needs working toaster, better lighting and ice trays. Overall, a nice place to stay.

Nice place with a driveway that cannot safely support a car due to out pot holes and uneven drive way. Smelled a little danky / skunky if you know what I mean.

Overnight stay for Steelers game

Very clean, nice, well appointed apartment. Driveway was fairly treacherous and would be nearly impossible if snow was on it, but the attachments showing the driveway made it easier to find. Would definitely stay there again so long as no snow

Treetop delight

This property is a hidden gem. Greg’s description of the property is spot on! Great communications. He provided a mini-map to the apartment as it is tucked away. He also shared excellent directions to the conference I attended. Brought my adult son and his dog, it was perfect for them. Loved the large patio overlooking a ravine. Will definitely stay again ;)

The perfect weekend getaway!

My fiance & I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway trip to Pittsburgh & I could not have been more perfect. Greg was a fantastic host, having everything ready for us prior to our arrival & thorough instructions including photos a few days ahead of time! The driveway is a little funky but nothing too hard to handle & the heads up from Greg plus the photo made it easy to get the hang of after the first try. The space was beautiful, clean, and cool on such a hot weekend! We enjoyed the amenities including the full pitcher of cold water upon arrival which was very needed after venturing through Downtown prior to our arrival. It was the perfect distance between Mt. Troy & downtown giving us the peace and quiet of the neighborhoods while still being close enough to come and go from downtown as we pleased. We will absolutely be staying here again! Highly recommend!!

Stairs from Hell

We were not aware of all the rather steep steps to get to the door. 17 if I remember right, to carry luggage up these steps was very difficult for 73 and 76 year olds . Our host told me it was good for me it would make me strong. The bathroom lights went out after you were a minute into taking a shower. The floor had two soft spots that were like stepping into a hole. The TV had no local /nbc/cbs/abc unless we would have used our streaming from home…..only news and rowcu disappointed for the thousand dollars we spent

Clean, well air conditioned, but you get what you paid for….Issues: flooring sags throughout middle of the unit. outside steps are uneven—-this is a second story apartment. Air space between floor and main entrance door. Stove switches on gas range easily turns on. All louver doors are falling off hinges and some missing handles.Positives: quiet area, good size washer dryer unit, refrigerator (bag of ice provided). Living area very cozy…Location-when is submitted request, the map showed it located in Avalon. It is actually in Reserve Twp. Across from a cemetery, and is the best place to walk your pet. Backyard is wooded, and a little cluttered. Driveway begins on a blind entrance to the road.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was like a little home away from home for the week. A heads up about the raccoons would've been appreciated, as we had a mishap one night with them in our trash, but other then that, our stay was great.

Concerned.

The unit was clean, met our housing needs and was affordable. It is situated in a nice tree lined setting. The major concern that I had is there are holes in the floor boards that are covered by carpet. From my perspective , this is a safety concern. The driveway is difficult to find and not marked very well. It is also dirt and gravel which may cause concerns for some guests.

Decent priced and safe apartment and pet friendly

No frills apartment with plenty of space for 2-3 people. Deck has a nice view of the trees. Not much of a yard to walk your dogs but the cemetery across the street was nice for walks. Driveway was hard to get into and out of. Kitchen was well stocked. Plenty of towels. A few spots in the floor were a little soft when stepped on. But overall a pleasant stay.

Not Up to Par

This house is difficult to get to via a hidden, narrow, muddy drive. Needless to say, my car was filthy afterwards. The house was not clean. The floor sagged in several places. The TV didn’t work and there was no volume control if it did work. The back deck overlooked a yard filled with garbage. The one positive thing is that it was at least quiet.
