This property was adequate for our needs. We are a group friends who travel together a few times a year and usually choose properties at a higher price point but Corning didn’t have many choices and the convenience of the location of this property couldn’t be beat. It was convenient to the Museum of Glass and all of the restaurants on our list. The first thing that hit us upon entering the property was the smell of air freshener over what smelled like pet ( I was concerned because of allergies but I was nonreactive). Luckily the house was very clean!! We hoped that we would become nose blind, but honestly that never happened. It was less noticeable upstairs, so it didn’t interfere with our sleep. We were out all day and each evening. We primarily used the property as a place to sleep and chose to make the best of it.The odd/even parking situation was not difficult to navigate but did require attention. We never had trouble with the on street parking. The entry code was clearly communicated and easy to use.We laughingly compared the property to our college apartment experiences: mismatched furniture, squeaky stairs, basics, nothing fancy. It was clean and comfortable. We did miss having wine glasses. Being so close wine country and being in an area famous for glass , drinking out of plastic tumblers was an experience we could have done without.
