There may be other cabins nearby but nothing has a view like this! Park yourself high up a mountain in our beautiful log cabin. Located above the Palisades Reservoir with legendary lake and mountain views. Ideal for dates and honeymoons with a view. Polar opposite of a big city. Endless hiking options, water activities, and day trips to Jackson, GTNP, Grand Targhee, Yellowstone etc.
Our cabin is an unforgettable experience and a destination by itself. Look no further, you found a true Idaho Gem.
Please be advised that AWD or 4WD is necessary for cabin access. First night arrival by 8pm is required for escort up the mountain.

What an AWESOME cabin. Quaint and secluded with the most incredible views. The pictures do not do it justice. Super clean and well maintained too. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful fall colors

This home was exactly as pictured. Sitting on the porch enjoying the scenery was so relaxing. We chose to stay put and eat in. After a week of hotel rooms it was great .to have a house.

The property was exactly as described in the listing but the photos don’t do the place justice. It was very peaceful and a perfect getaway from it all. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch with the breeze and watching the chipmunks. The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

What a view!

Beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. Vinnie was an incredible host and his attention to detail was amazing! Definitely made us feel like we were at home! We could not have picked a better place to meet our needs. 10 out of 10 recommendation!!!

Cabin Life

The cabin is located overlooking the lake with beautiful views in all directions. If you enjoy hiking there are trails in both directions less then 15 minutes from the location that are amazing. We will be returning to this area / cabin next fall. Thank you for allowing us to share you little slice of heaven.

This is a wonderful rustic cabin with epic views. The view off of the front deck was so amazing it was hard to think about other things. Even though it is a rustic log cabin, it was appointed very nicely with top end appliances and finishes. The small AC unit was much appreciated in the middle of the summer as day time highs were in the 90s but it was still comfortable inside the cabin. The birdwatching was great and the hummingbirds were very friendly to anyone on the front porch. The road up to the cabin could have been a challenge in inclement weather, but we had no issues at all getting in and out despite the steep grade. We will be looking to book this property again when we visit the swan Valley area.
