This is a classic cabin and it is authentic and rustic. Potential guests should know that it has normal quirks of a rustic Vermont cabin - the bedrooms don't close off to the rest of the house, the only shower is in the downstairs bathroom and is a claw foot tub, the hot and cold water in the bathroom sink are in separate spouts, etc. These are the things that give this home its character. We loved our stay!
The house was my type of relaxing and setting. No TV but a good audio system to stream music and a woodstove to keep busy and warm. The river is wonderful to listen to and explore. Games at night after skiing and do it all over again. Old claw foot shower and tub would be difficult for a lot of people…. I’m 5-7” and 175 and it was tough, lol.
