Green Sky Cabin is a very nice 4 bedroom, 3 bath, 3600 square foot cabin on 9+ acres, conveniently located in St Germain, WI. The cabin is dog friendly and available to rent all year.

9 acres offers complete privacy from neighbors. This unique property features a private trail through the woods to 50 feet of lake frontage on Big St. Germain Lake. Green Sky Cabin is open all year round.

The cabin is perfect for larger families or groups. The cabin features 11 total beds: 1 king, 2 queen, 2 full, and 6 twins. There is 1 bedroom upstairs, 1 bedroom on the main floor, 1 bedroom on the lower level, and another bonus loft (awesome for kids or teens) above the attached garage. There are 3 full bathrooms, 1 on each level.

While there is no lakeview from the property, we have a private trail through the woods that leads to our 50’ of frontage on Big St. Germain Lake. Our frontage features a gentle slope to a sandy shoreline. Use the 2 golf carts provided to our guests to shuttle back and forth from the water, or enjoy a peaceful walk through the woods.

A large, new dock was installed in 2022 and allows room to tie up your boat or a rental. Our beach area features a picnic table and multiple benches on the dock. Our guests also get to use our 4 kayaks (2 singles and 2 doubles). We share the frontage with a retired couple who keep their boat tied up on our dock, so expect to see an extra boat tied up to the dock during the boating season.

Came with family for a snowmobile trip but unfortunately the trails were closed. Cabin is in a great location if the trails were open. Plenty of room for our group of 11. Well stocked with everything we needed. Nice trail to walk to the lake. Will definitely book again!

Awesome Place & Property

Incredible place to stay with tons of room for a large group. The property feels really secluded with wooded cover all around but still a short golf cart ride away from the beach. Communication was great before and during the stay. Plenty of dock space to hold personal watercraft so you don’t have to worry about taking it in and out of the water. Would absolutely recommend staying, and I hope to be back sometime with a group in the future!

Wonderful winter escape at this fabulous home in the perfect location. We were able to snowmobile right from the house on to the trail system which was wonderful for our annual snowmobiling trip. Coming back each day to a warm and relaxing cabin was made even better by having great food spots for dinner within easy walking distance. Outstanding communication from the owner throughout the entire process and we can’t wait to return!

Amazing getaway cabin

We had a wonderful stay here. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The host was responsive whenever we had questions. The kids loved the air hockey table and basement space to play. The adults enjoyed the evenings eating at the large table on the porch and the fire ring outside. The golf carts made it easy to get everyone down to the lake to paddle, swim or pontoon on the boat we rented. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there.

Big St Germaine Lake cabin

Cabin was great but wish it was CLOSER to water. Long way away. Was nice that they had a lot of 'stuff' already at cabin like toilet paper, roll towel, spices, etc. Had trouble with flushing toilets the first few days, but worked with Jason and he was able to get the problem resolved.

St Germaine Vacation

The cabin was very comfortable and had plenty of space for our family of 12. The living room/dining room/kitchen accommodated us very well and we took full advantage of the deck and screened porch. The lake was a relatively short walk through the woods and the golf carts made it very easy to shuttle the kids and gear to the dock. We thoroughly enjoyed the lake -fishing, swimming, kayaking and canoeing. We also rented a pontoon boat for a few days to help us get around the entire lake. Well worth it. No one wanted to leave when our week ended! It was an ideal location for our large family with children ranging from 4 - 10.

Great Family Summer Getaway

Great Location!

Perfect location! It was quiet and relaxing. St. Germain is a perfect location to get away from the hustle and bustle of Minocqua and Eagle River but still within a convenient distance to either town for things to do. The cabin was also very nice, cozy, and accommodating.

Our group of 14 (6-79) had a fabulous stay. The common areas both on the main floor and lower level were perfect for meals, games and gathering. The beds were super comfy and the bedding very soft. Jason was very helpful and quick to reply. The air hockey in the basement and crate of games were great. There was an assortment of books for Littles up to grown ups. There were plenty of stocked supplies. The golf carts were great and we enjoyed the trail walks as well! The lake water was crystal clear and kids had a blast swimming. We rented many Northwoods cabins for family vacations when our two kids were young, and we're happy now we can help other families make memories in this beautiful place.

Not only do you get access to Big St. Germain Lake when you stay at Green Sky, you also are in the perfect location to access the best of the Northwoods. Fishing, snowmobiling, biking, cross country skiing, snow shoeing….you get the idea. This is an outdoor lovers paradise.

Rarely can you find a property in such a popular vacation town where you actually get true privacy. We have 9+ acres - the cabin is surrounded by forest. You can’t see neighbors in any direction. Yet, you are right next to it all. Absolute convenience to restaurants, shopping, kids activities, and more.

And, for you supper club enthusiasts, Green Sky Cabin is walking distance from McGregor’s Blink Bonnies Supper Club. This legendary supper club sees lines form at least an hour before the restaurant opens. Every single day they are open.

For the golfers in your group, St. Germain Golf Club is across the street from the cabin. It is a beautiful course carved out of the woods. No 2 holes overlap and there are no homes on the course. You will see wildlife and you may lose a ball or 8.
