Boutique complex! The only condo complex on the beach in Kona. This top floor studio with full kitchen is literally steps to Magic Sands beach where you will find great snorkeling, boogie boarding and sun bathing. Easy 3 mile drive to historic Kona Village. Magic Sands complex also has a beautiful restaurant, bar and snack bar. The sunsets are spectacular and the sound of the waves right outside your condo will transport you to hawaiian paradise. There are bikes to rent across the street as well as a local trolley to ride into town. So many great restaurants, shops and farmers markets nearby. It’s truly the best location for staying put or as a home base as you explore all the Big Island has to offer. This condo sleeps 2. One king bed.

By the shore break

Nice property in general. There are three flights of stairs to climb. The condo is in excellent condition, including a well appointed but small kitchen. Exterior of property is not as pristine as the condo itself. You are right next to the shore break, so we found sleeping with the glass doors closed and the AC on, preferable.

Spectacular

Even though we are familiar with Kona and the Ali'i Drive area, this condo exceeded our expectations. Perfect place for honeymooners and couples. The location is perfect, the surf breaking below the sliding glass doors about 50 feet from the building and great beaches on both sides. A lot of care went into the very recent remodel, and there was no cutting of corners in fixtures, furniture, or furnishings. Kari was very accommodating and responsive before and during our stay. This is everything you would want for a vacation in Kona.

Why they chose this property

We want to be as close to a sandy beach as possible. While there are many beaches to visit on the BI we like the convenience of simply walking a few steps to swim, snorkel and sunbathe. We love having a great restaurant in our complex as well. The sunsets and proximity to the ocean are without exception the best in Kona. The waves are so beautiful and lull you to sleep.
