About this property
Magic Lakehouse, Waterfront, Private Beach and Dock
Beautiful lake front home on a private island on Lake Monomonac in Rindge, NH. This home is set on a quiet cove where you can swim, fish, kayak, canoe, stand up paddle board, float on a tube, and just enjoy the sunshine. 120FT shoreline. Nearby Mt Monadnock, Keene, VT, trails, state parks, & more.
Enjoy a private sandy beach or eat dinner out on the huge private deck. This home on the lake is just the vacation time you need away to relax while also feeling right at home. Bring your own boat/jet ski. The lake has a public boat ramp and you can use the U shaped dock to moor your vessel.
The house features a Master bedroom with private bathroom along with two other bedrooms with two beds in each. The large screened in sun porch has a day bed for napping or for the guest who likes to sleep under the stars (futon mattress on day bed, not the most comfortable for an adult). There are two living room spaces and pull out sleeper sofa (in 2nd living room). Large eat in dining room or multiple eating locations on the spacious deck overlooking the water. Separate laundry room offers access to a washer and dryer.
Backyard is ready for lawn games and the sandy beach has seen many a sandcastle. Home has lots of parking, private deck, private beach, private docks, swim raft, 3 kayaks, canoe, stand up paddle board, fishing poles available for use. There is a wood stove for chilly nights, a fire pit for s'mores and a grill on the deck. Catch up on reading or sleeping on the private hammock or floating lounger on the beach.
90 minutes from Boston. The area has lots of hiking, bike trails, and all types of dining options in the quintessential beautiful New England town of Peterborough, a 15-20 minute drive away. You are also a short 14 minute drive to the trails of Mt. Monadnock. Lake Monomanac is a hidden gem with pristine 700+ acres that straddles NH and MA.

About the host
Hosted by David McIntyre

Our kids spent their summers here growing up and we have many amazing memories as a result. Countless children have caught their first fish right off the dock or tried kayaking for the fist time in the cove. We really love the idea of others creating great memories.
Why they chose this property
The Magic Lakehouse is in a quite NH town, but close enough to Boston to see a Red Sox game. There are plenty of outdoor activities from hiking to mountain biking to golf.
What makes this property unique
We are located on a private island, with a sandy beach and deep water off the end of the dock. The lake is fed by 88 sources including streams, rivers and springs making the water very clean. It is a private location to relax, recharge, and create your own lasting memories.
