About this property
Charming converted School Bus in Wears Valley. "Jolene the Skoolie"
Welcome to "Jolene the Skoolie," a lovely space to relax and unwind after a long day exploring this beautiful area. Jolene is located in the prestigious community of Wears Valley. Our Valley is centrally located to all of the communities of Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, Townsend, and The Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Perfectly close to all of the attractions and adventures this area has to offer.
Whether you are here for one of our famous Rod Runs or just want some peace and quiet in the Smokys, Jolene will bring comfort. She is nestled just a half mile from Wears Valley road in a quiet residential area with a partial view of Cove Mountain. No worries, guys, there aren't any steep inclines to drive. Let Jolene and the sounds of the country soothe your worries away all year around. Grab a cup of your favorite tasty beverage and relax by the fire pit. Or rest your weary bones on the porch breathing in the fresh mountain air. She is most definitely TOO COOL FOR SCHOOL.
Guest access: Flat gravel road leading up to the property accommodates any vehicle. Car and motorcycle enthusiasts are welcome. Up to 4 parking spaces available on gravel only (NO PARKING IN GRASS). Additional vehicle and trailer storage is available upon request with a fee.
Other things to note: Jolene the Skoolie does not accommodate children under two years of age. Unfortunately, there isn't adequate space for a crib, Pack n Play or bassinet.
One dog under 30 pounds are welcome with a $95 fee. If you already added the pet in your booking that fee is added into the nightly rate.
We ask kindly to please use pet crate when left unattended. And bring pet beds as we ask that dogs stay off the beds and furniture in Jolene the Skoolie. Should there be excessive hair/fur on linens, then an added fee will be charged to the guest for professional laundry service. All pet waste should be bagged and disposed of in the outside receptacle. Leash walk only as there can be Bear, Coyote, and Eagles in the area. Occasionally, exceptions will be made for adding a second dog under 30 pounds with an additional $95 fee to be added after booking.
There is regular pest control, but here in the mountains, it is very common to still see ladybugs, gnats, ants, mosquitos, and occasionally spiders. Refunds will not be issued over insects.
Please be kind to the neighbor's chickens and turkeys. They help keep the pests, including ticks at bay.
Lost, stolen, or damaged linens will be charged to guests after inspection.
Late check-outs will be subject to additional fees.
If deep sanitation and/or deodorizing is deemed necessary outside of the normal turnover cleaning, guests will be charged a fee after inspection.
