Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway or walk two blocks to the famous original Magazine St bustling with original restaurants and plenty of bars. Enough to satisfy anyone’s shopping, dining, or bar hopping desire. Decorated with only local artists paintings and stocked with original recipes for the brave culinary hopefuls. Stay the night in w all amenities expected or jaunt to Magazine Street.If you do get out of the neighborhood, use our famous streetcar line to go uptown towards Tulane University or go two miles through the Warehouse District and Central Business District to enter the famous French Quarter. The streetcar continues all the way through Mid City and ends on Canal Blvd entering the neighborhood of Lakeview where the Conductor switches sides. Each neighborhood has its uniqueness but all encompass what makes our city special, the people. New Orleans has always been inclusive. We want you to have fun in New Orleans like we do.

Christian and I are from New Orleans. I lived in San Francisco for over a decade and within the last few years moved home and was able to purchase our new Lower Garden District home. You may see us working on our property or playing ping pong with our teenage sons.

Why they chose this property

The Lower Garden District is walking distance to unique retail, restaurants, and 24 hour bar establishments. Our Jackson Avenue retreat places our home walking distance to the hustle and bustle while providing a retreat quiet and a canvas to garden, play and relax. We love to have so many options without ever having to get in a car and live to share our oasis with guests.

What makes this property unique

There should always be beautiful local plants blooming with color for you to relax privately in your own area patio or you can enjoy viewing local artist pieces on your private studio walks. You should have everything you need if choosing to stay in. However, steps from public transportation, stones throw to restaurants, retail, and bars. We are so close if you need anything, but never in your space if not. Privacy, safety are felt but once you are here you may want to join us on the front porch to hear about funny stories or our last hurricane story. New Orleanians are never short of a story. Our natural resources always lead to fun. Our garden studio provides you with a safe comfortable base to make your own stories and memories you will cherish.
