A must stay! We loved our stay, the deck and gardens were beautiful, perfect for our morning reading and coffee time! Quiet, relaxing, exceptionally comfortable and clean. The location was perfect for our stay and visits to the local towns and attractions. A quick walk to the beautiful York Harbor Beach, and harbor walkway taking you to the "Wiggly Bridge"!
The place was beautiful as advertised. The host was very helpful and we would stay there again. It's in close walking distances to the beach, harbor, wiggly bridge and the finest restaurants in York Harbor.
Awesome location, exceptionally clean, perfect for two. Quiet and private setting surrounded by beautiful landscaped gardens. Excellent and responsive hosts. Hoping for a return visit!
This place is very charming. It is well maintained and very comfortable. It filled our needs perfectly for our stay in York. Host was very accommodating and everything you would need for a stay away from home was available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this little slice of peace and tranquility to everyone. Thank you Scott.
We stayed at this property for a long weekend and had a wonderful time! The apartment is cozy and quiet, and the inside was pristine. The owners were very quick to respond with inquiries prior to booking and leading up to our stay. They truly thought of everything to ensure their guests have everything they need for their stay. The location was perfect to enjoy all that York Harbor has to offer, and was close enough to allow us to explore nearby towns as well. This was one of those stays we were not ready to come home from.
Wonderful host family. It is within walking distance to parks, beach, and the village plus trails. The apartment has the smallest of details well planned out, right down to makeup towels and cloth napkins. The beautiful gardens attract butterflies and humming birds as a back drop to the dining table. This is the most restful stay we have had in six years. Wished it was for a longer period of time.
This is the best short-stay site we have ever stayed in! It is a lovely, highly efficient and just what we wanted in this charming village. Small kitchen, with usual appliances and a nice array of snacks, adequately equipped for the advertised capacity although not for a large group. Two levels with bedroom, bath and washer-dryer up stairs and living/dining/kitchen on lower floor plus a half bath which was convenient. Spotless and pleasant furnishings, including books, games and TV which we didn't use, but best part of the venue was the private outdoor patio with comfortable seating surrounded by really wonderful, carefully tended gardens. Nice neighborhood and there are also nice walks nearby--to York's small sandy beach, plus a well-marked, two mile route up the York River that begins across the street. While centrally located it's so secluded that it's hard to spot coming from I-95, and exiting the short drive was tricky until I learned to use the mirror across the street to gauge traffic coming around a curve. Owner was very welcoming and gracious. Really the best ever . . .
