My partner and I have been living in Atlanta since we graduated from UGA. I’m an Accountant (CPA) and she is a interior Designer, but our passion is traveling and designing/managing fun and unique spaces for our friends, neighbors, and clients. Designing and hosting Airbnb properties is something we accidentally stumbled on to when we listed our first space (a spare bedroom) in when we renovated our home in 2015. ' When we aren’t in Atlanta, we are off exploring the US and when we are lucky; other parts of the world. In the past couple years, we have traveled to Colorado, Utah, California and all over the West. We are huge National Parks fans and our goal is to see every federally managed park in the US. We also recently traveled internationally to Belize, Canada, Bali, the English Isles, Peru, France, Iceland, Thailand, India, and Italy. We have stayed in some pretty amazing places all over the world and have brought some of the best ideas and amenities to the homes we design and host for Airbnb.

I chose this neighborhood for its strategic location and vibrant community feel. Its proximity to the Virginia Tech campus and downtown Blacksburg allows for easy accessibility to a wide variety of local attractions, from cafes and restaurants to shops and cultural sites. This central location gives me the best of both worlds, providing easy access to the university environment as well as the city's downtown scene. Furthermore, the Virginia Tech transit system runs right through the neighborhood, making it an excellent resource for residents and visitors alike to immerse themselves in the local scene, while making commuting a breeze. This neighborhood has an incredible sense of community, as it's part of the tight-knit Virginia Tech/Blacksburg community. I appreciate this sense of belonging and connection that comes from living here.

One of the highlights of this property for me is the community pool. It's not only a great place to relax and enjoy the water, but it also serves as a social hub where neighbors come together. This feature, coupled with the accessibility and community feel, really sets this property apart from others in the area.
